Trust those corrupt mothafuckas to mess up again. Amodu is a dinosaur, a relic of a bygone era. BCC Lions of Gboko was like 20 years ago. What has this man done for the last 15 years? He is totally behind the times.

Its a political thing o.All those biased, jaded people want a head coach they can control, one that'll be fully under their thumb. Keshi wouldn't have been that kind of person, most definitely. Well, now we're stuck with Amodu, let's see what he does.Cos if he messes up,there'll be a lot of hate and blame directed @ the NFA. Well-deserved ones too.

the NFA are crasy. What on hell will they make Amodu chief coach? Siasia is the man and if they confirm amodu as chief coach then we should4get about the world cup. We can quaify for nations cup with Amodu but not the world cup because he doesnt have the mentality to bring about real ideas to take us up 2 the top even if all tools are provided for him

guys,
dom u know my problem with our so called NFA is dat dey are stil not ready to learn from d past experiience.I dont understand why in the past few years somebody u already condemned nw sees to become your best.Saying that the amodu's pedigree in the area of coaching is better compare to Siasia. What an insult????Anyway i stil belief they stil want to continue in stealing nigeria money and dey belief somebody lik amodu can't stop dem from doing so.Thats why they are attaching dose qualification to him.But i know one day GOD will disengage us from dis set of thief.SIASIA REMAINS D BEST AS FAR AS NIGERIA FOOTBALL IS CONCER.
THANKS.

The problem of Nigerian National team is far from being over. It appears we have a set of incorrigible block heads called NFA. Whatever happened to their sense of judgment. By my standards, Eguaveon is better than Amodu. We are watching. Embarrassed Sad Angry

well, Amodu is ok prefer to BERTI GOAT of germany, but for me I would have prefer keshi due to is experience with togolise national team, but all the same, let the NFA and Nigeria give him full support.

I believe we know the best option for us.  These local coaches are not of international standard.  We need a FOREIGN coach BUT NOT a BERTI VOGTS.  Vogts might be good in Azber, woteva but what we need is someone like Hector Cuper, or a coach of international standard

I think there must be a mistake somewhere. The new coach is meant to be appointed on Thursday. Undecided

No news in the papers about it for the past couple of days.

False alarm methinks.

BLOOD OF JESUS! Huh Amodu as the new coach? Its a lie?!

Infact, I now believe that our FA is truly a No Future Ambition (NFA) organisation.
They should change the name of that body. NFA is totally a disgrace to Nigeria.

This is a time we should be thinking only about World Class coaches who have
proved themselves. I don't know what Amodu has achieved in his life.
For me, no Nigerian coach except Siasia is world class enough.

You are right. Its a lie. No coach has been appointed yet. I don't even think Amodu was on the shortlist. The list should be out today.

Don't know where these fairy tales come from.  Angry

Amodu Shuaibu’s chances of becoming the new coach of Super Eagles’ will be hanging on the decision of the National Sports Commission (NSC), even as the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) await the committee’s report.

The NSC stopped the football gladiators at the Glass House in Abuja from announcing the Edo-born coach as the man to take charge of the senior national team. The NSC, it was gathered were not favoruably disposed with the choice of Amodu on the grounds that the issues concerning the contracts for the job were not properly handled.

The NFA hearkening to the order from NSC had set up a three-man committee on Monday to look into the recommendations of the technical committee, who were saddled with the onerous task of selecting the best candidates for the job.

It would be recalled that Dream Team IV Chief Coach, Samson Siasia was highly favoured for the lucrative job, but he later opted out based on his decision that he would not to serve under any coach in assistant capacity.

Meanwhile, NFA’s Chairman, Alhaji Abdulahi Lulu, in a telephone chat with Daily Sunsport, confirmed that the decision on Amodu’s employment would be taken after the committee that was set up had submited their report.

It is expected that the Amanze Uchegbulam, Bolaji Ojo-Oba and Solomon Ogba committee would submit their report at the Glass House, where the board would meet afterwards to look into their recommendations.

It was also gathered that Amodu had been secretly pleading with NSC’s topshots to forget about the past and allow him make amends for his past misdeeds.

Amodu wot,, titititititiititi!!

the NFA and other football sports administrators (safe some few) in Nigeria kind of are the worst in the WORLD.

WDF are they doing, and WDF are we looking at, can't we just go break the Glass house,

i don't think we even have any former football player in the Glass house administration, safe the Coaches.

Cant we just get things right once, and continue in that regard, well, maybe they did their home work and got the best guy!

We shall see in 1.5 years time when results start coming and there are issues with coaching staff, etc , again!!

can some peeps stop crying over EXPIRED MI-LI-KI? KESHI don go im own way, there's nothing we can do about that. what is left is for us to support the new coach and leave TRIBAL SENTIMENTS in his team selection cos I remember Chukwu was criticized alot for IGBONIZING D SUPER EAGLES! I hope this man is allowed to make his choices of assistant and no delay over salary payment.
