Why seventy percent of Nollywood movies is Romance and Sex Action?  There is money on it or is just prestige?  Or  the script writers just have monotonous Stories?

What can I say, their storylines are so shallow that you can predict what will happen next without concentrating.Look, its obvious that they are quickly running out of stories. That is why sometimes you cannot separate one romantic movie from the other. They all look alike and sound alike, so pathetic. Anyway, considering the audience it is suffice to say that Romance and Action movies are well received. Those are the kind of movies that Nigerian movie fans
would love to see any day. There should be improvement in the quality of scripts and ideas. You don't just wake up one day and become a script writer. Professionalism has to there.Time after time Nollywood directors and actors boast of catching up with hollywood in years to come. Yeahhh,in their dreams. They have to step up an make a change. Its time to be more creative and imaginative and stop making cheap films.it doesn't have to be an expensive block-bustser.Creativity should be the key word.

its very easy for someone to come up with stories like these. these kind of stories don't really require detail and research. they can be coked up within a short time.

many nollywood viewers love these kind of stories so the producers keep giving them what they want.
