i have onli heard a few of cobham's production bur from the little i have heard,he is miles better than don jazzy,check out that mo hits record with wande coal booty, the beats was the same all through no inovation just same all through if not for the wande coal's voice modulation coupled with the whole hype it wouldnt have been a hit, don jazzy made a couple of good ones like d banj's early works but they are riding on hype right now, a producer has to be like timbaland, innovative,unique,coming up with diffrent ideas check out one republic's apologize now check out missy elliot amongst others then look at wyclef and his productions thats how a producer should work not using same or similar hip hop beats for all your production backed by hype

They are both very talented producers but the cake goes to cobhams. he's very different and diverse. Comes up with a unique different beat each time, while Don jazzy knows what the average niaja person wants to skae their booty to. Out of the 2, Cobhams would appeal more to an international audience and make music for international artistes while the don mite win only a very african crowd.

Plus Cobhams, is even blind, thats pure god given talent to be as good as he is and even better than people that can see.
