Just for the records, was the N1.55M price inclusive of clearing from the port? (i.e on the road price).
Can you do a ford explorer 2002 - 2003 model, for N1.2M (after clearing from the port)?

Sir, Shipping(RORO) and clearing your 2001 Explorer will cost ~N500,000. That leaves N700,000 or (~$6000) that is before my measly 10% profit! That is not enough money for your explorer since I don't do salvaged cars, cars in previous accidents, stxlxn cars, or cars imported from cotonou. In theory, yes. But, at 7" - 7.5", your rims are a bit too narrow. You'd need a minimum of 8" to run tyres that wide. |

ok, thanks, will stick with 225 by 50 by 16 - for the 16 rims
when u confirm, our deal, then i know what to do, when i get d baby, i will put d tyres above until, i know where am heading, price for 16inch tyre in naija is about 20-30k depending on brand , for 17inch its 30-40k and for 18inch its 40-50k as per what we discussed. so for now i will close my eyes and stick with the 16" max size, i wish i could run does tyres (235x45x16) but if i put them what will happen or they wont fit well because of 8 stuff u talked about, thanks

225/50x16 tyres will fit fine on your stock rims.
If you decide to buy new rims, in 16/17/18", make sure the offset (ET) is between 35 - 38mm.

As long as you're in control of the car in the first instance, aquaplaning shouldn't be an issue.

- Mileage Desirable (e.g. 45,000 - 50,000max - "Cars average 15,000miles/year in the USA; I don't deal in exhorbitantly high mileage cars" )
- Leather seat?
- Other 'must have' features?
