I've wanted to ask this long before now. Why free incoming calls? Really it doesn't make sense. Do u pay to receive calls ?

They just do free incoming calls as one of the features to attract you to them.  To make calls, use the direct connect and texting feature are all what you pay for.  As a bonus, you get free incoming calls, free after 7p, and free nights and weekends.

Still same confusion. Why would a company use the words 'free' incoming calls to attract customers. Are there any telecom companies that charge u for receiving calls?
Incoming calls are supposed to be freeĀ  Huh

Ok, I'm sorry, I misunderstood what you were asking.

To make or receive calls during peak hours uses your "daytime" minutes.  Or the amount alloted for your use during the hours of 7a (6a if you use Verizon) to 9p (7p if you use Sprint or Nextel).  Under the Nextel plan, if you make calls during those peak minutes they will be deducted from your alloted time.  But you will not use any minutes if a person calls you.  Thereby making the incoming calls "free."

Does that make sense?  Huh Cheesy

layi the phone plans are different. Most phone company here charge for recieving calls. It's not like Nigeria where you recieve calls for free and get charged for outgoing calls only. You get free nights and weekend. Your free night start from 9:00pm-7:00am and you free weekend starts on friday 9:00pm-monday 7:00am. How cool is that uh?? I have free text messaging too... Well. maybe i don't get d logic but i think i prefer 2 pay 4 outgoing calls because if i pay 4 incoming calls i'l be paying 4 some iritants that call me. doesnt make much sense, im sure im missin d logic. anyways i use a nokia 6820 and i wish i was using a sony erriccson k750i

You got the logic. It's just hard for u to believe it.  Cheesy
It's true how you get to pay for some annoying calls you recieve. Anyways right now, sprint is joined with nextel and you can choose a better plan.

So a reversed call is just like calling someone collect?  The charges are incurred on your phone?  Whenever I hear: You have a collect call from. . . . I just hang up!
