there's nothing wrong in exposing a church's doctrine u find unbiblical (unbiblical underscored)

You will be saving a lot of people by exposing such.

For instance, if the church promotes ritual killings, which is UNBIBLICAL, expose it and people get saved.)

You amuse me

Where as it is not right for us to critisize "men of God" these days we have several false prophets  and it is difficult to know who is genuine. How ever when a suposed man of God knowingly collects ill gotten money, or refuses to return it when he finds out the the money was illegaly obtained, he cannot be a true man of God,This was what happened when a leading member of pastor chris church was discovered to have been stealing Large sums of money from his employers (Sheraton hotel) and giving most of this stolen money to the church. Even though the church acknowledge that the man in question was their member and a leading donor to the church they refused to return a kobo and even threatened to sue some media houses for asking them to. I am convinced that no genuine man of God would encourage his congregation to bring stolen money to the house of God.

personally i am yet to be convinced that pastor chris is a miracle worker, i have watched too many of his programmes and i am convinced that what he is doing is showbiz, the man is just a business man who is trying to make a comfortable living for himself.

Without mincing words, the God that created the limbs in the first place can ABSOLUTELY cause an amputated limb to grow back.
He raises the dead for crying out loud, you may have your concerns/doubts about some pastors/so-called pastors and the way they go about miracles these days, but that does not in any way imply that God has stopped doing  miracles.

Jesus performed miracles (still performs them)and says ;If you believe in me,these works shall you do and greater works than these.

Though i believe in miracles, but what i count as out of place is back-door miracles.

How do you expect someone with no sight for about 25 years open the eyes and recognize colours or see. God dosen't work like that. It should be gradual.

We all know how we feel when we leave a dark room for the the sun,  your eyes needs to dapt well before you can see clearly.

Abeg help me tell them like Roof Top MCs. That was why i asked the question "did God tell you in your dream, that he (pastor chris ) is a man of God? Or did you just conceive that notion  based on your idea of what a man of God should be?  1 Corinthians 11:31, Mat 24:11,24-25.

Whichever way, he is either guilty or innocent. Only God knows. I rest my case, so rest yours also. Lips sealed Lips sealed

God has been training the man all these while he was blind so that when is eyes are open, he can easily adjust to life. Grin Cheesy Cheesy I didn't say so

So don't blame the man of God for being an instrument in bringing God's wish to pass. lol  Wink

@ Sister keziah,

You havent answered my question. I believe you are a christian and you attend a church. Is your pastor a man of God and how did you know?

@  ehie

Pastor Chris uses Repetition? lol laughable

It then means the bible is 'mere repitition' in your reckoning because Pastor Chris teaches using the bible.

lol you also said 'he packs people at the centre' bla bla bla

obviously you have a baised mind, ofcus out of envy, and you must look for something, even if it makes no sense, to nail the man and his ministry.

I have been to the church's programmes on several occasions and I have had to stay at the overflow, outside the stadium in Lagos. So where did the 'packing ppl at the centre' emanate from?

Lastly ehie, I will advise you to do a spiritual diagnosis of your life and turn to God before it's too late and stop being envious of this man's success. You too can be successful in life!

@adeham

lol there's no bottom anywhere. Just get closer to your God and live a great life

Why should we do for God what God can absolutely do for himself?

God does not need a defender, if what paster Chris is doing is real

The truth is Nigerians like to be deceived. Even if Pastor Chris were to caught smoking Ganja on live Tv, u would have some dumb zealots finding some non existent explanation for his actions. Truth is the guy is a successful businessman and you cannot fault that but trying to get his followers and those who love his teaching to admit he is a fake is futile.

Make we just dey watch all this drama dey go. Like that wise guy said religion is basically a strong opium, the people need it to get high and they need something to hold onto true or not.

Brother fyneguy, you are absolutely correct. But mind you i am not a follow-follow christian. My principles and doctrines are bible based. I do not put my trust in men but God.  He only knows His true servants.

I love Pastor Chris' teachings and his profile Wink but i don't act God in people's life. All i am saying is let God fight for His name. (Abi you know hear the name Keziah? na Hebrew name from bible, like Isaiah, Josiah, Keziah, we all na God Heirs in Christ Jesus  Kiss Cheesy)

lol oga mellow

your statement: God does not need a defender, if what paster Chris is doing is real

ten let God exenorate him

You could have said: God does not need a defender, if what paster Chris is doing is FAKE

then let God JUDGE him

That shows you are on the opposing side. So the ppl that are on his side also have the right.

I neednt say more, need I?

@Sister Keziah

Well you still havent answered my question. are you saying you are not sure your pastor is a man of God?

wait o, are you saying Pastor Chris acts God in his life?  let me also remind you the bible says "Ye are gods" we represent God on earth. The problem is some christians mistake humility for slavery. They act like slaves in the process of being HUMBLE lol.

I dont think you love Pastor Chris. Just check your previous posts. I'm sure you will call the 'poster' a liar Grin

So how come TB Joshua is called an evil man?

Faith in God causes healing not the actions and charisma of a human being. Presence of marvellous miracles don't move me because they all have on caveat: FAITH.

So guysplease leave Pastor Chris alone. those he has convinced to share their income with him should carry on and  stop calling devil into this situation.

Matthew 7:21-23 ==>

21   Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22   Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Hold on. I didn't say your pastor dearest Chris act God in people,s life ( i was refering to myself)

Q1).  " I don't act God in people's life, " means our God is Omnipresent. Omniscient, The All Knowing ,  etc, but i am not. I don't know the mind of Pastor Chris or his moral standing. I don't know his motives or his greatest desires. Since i do not have the qualities of God, i can't ignorantly or arrogantly decide to play His role in people's life. In otherwords, i don't know if Pastor Chris is a True man of God or not. Let God be the judge not me.

Q2). No I don't know if he is a True man/servant of God. Same reasons as Q1. I listen to what they teach as long as the principles are the truth according to the bible. I don't put my trust in man.

Brother[b] fyneguy
hope u get it. Aight?

Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha haHa ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha ha!!!! I can't laugh enough.

Is it not satan? . . . he is a looser and a proud one at that. Its too late for the devil.

They have lost their hold over South Africa now they are attempting to throw their last shot.

Is it today we will start arranging miracles? Pastor Chris has been around for a long time. We really do not need a South african to tell us if they are arranged or not. Like someone earlier said, Nigerians aren't that dumb. We have recorded testimonies of people heald even as far back as the eighties  who are still alive and doing the work of God.  The world acclaimed healing school holds in SA every season with testimonies of thousands who go from all over the world and are healed. www.christembassyhealingschool.org

Why didnt the idiot reveal his identity? This thread is not worth being on  Nairaland.

No true christain should take this story seriously as they are merely the thoughts of demons.

Well, let me just drop this in as i got some inside info on the crusade from my pastor who traveled to SA from Nigeria:

A few days before the night of bliss program in SA, a group of people influened by satan rose against the program to say the program shouldnt hold as we wouldnt be able to handle the crowd. They even went to the web to send send out messages saying the NOB program has been postponed indefinitely, tell a friend. Government agencies were mobilized to stop the progam. Political muscles were flexed here and there. At a point, a panel had to be set up and the two groups called foward to debate on the issue of whether the program should hold or not.

Isnt this funny? . . . we have handled crowds of 1 million, 2.5 million and even 3.5 million before. SA shouldnt be a problem

Well, a day before the program, the government gave the go-ahead for the program to hold.

Boy! the program was explossive. In the words of my pastor who attended; "Miracles began to happen ever before pastor Chris arrived the stadium. Even outside the main bowl, miracles happened before pastor arrived. It looked too good to be true as there were shouts of joy as wheel chairs were seen in the air, carried by those they once carried. That is to tell you that It wasnt about pastor Chris but about the Power and grace of God that was mightily present as it always is in our meetings".

I tell you, satan and his co-horts are in trouble in SA and all of southern Africa.

My pastor who arrived the stadium at 6pm for the program that was meant to be all-night said the stadium was allready packed out with some people leaving because of the crowd.

According to her, they had to treck a very long distance frm where they parked their car as there was no space anywhere close to the stadium. On arrival, the gates were shut and she had to look for someone she could talk to, probably a Nigerian to let her in. She finally found a Nigerian who after much convincing with her ID and so on that she was a pastor and the wife of a very senior pastor in the ministry, she was asked to climb a certain platform from where she was thrown over the fence. In her own words. . . thank God i wore trousers and there was no one who knew me around there.

Well, it was time to enter the main bowl of the stadium as she had only entered the compound. She joined the camera crew pretending to be one of them in order to get in.

It took Winnie Mandela 3hrs to get into the stadium. Her and her former husband insisted they must meet  Pastor chris before he left SA.

Arrange? please excuse me, try another lie.

Satan is defeated . . . Jesus is Lord!!
