Most Nigerians Are Not Educated About Hiv And Aids
« on: April 09, 2008, 07:42 PM »

Most people don't even know what HIV or AIDS stands for, let alone know the causes, symptoms and preventions.

All they know is that you can get HIV through sex. Nigeria primary and secondary schools should start educating

students about HIV and AIDS, i mean on a serious note. People always think if one look healthy, they are not

infected.  Cancer is something they should be educated about too. Nigerians that died of cancer don't even know it.

Thanks my brother. What they also don't know is that most diseases are silent killers, no signs/ symptoms.

This is why i detest Nigeria education system. No classes such as Anatomy/Physiology, Genetics, etc. Extra sciences classes

like that. It's so pathetic that some Nigerians still thinks winches and curses cause most of their sickness. c'mon Nigeria,

let's get in the Game of Modernizing. We're way behind.
