Thank you o jare my brother. How many people can stand the sound of a crying baby, talkless of someone screaming like a wild banshee. Isn't this the same reason why babies are banned from flying first-class and business-class?

AJ, the ban should be placed on the plane for allowing those deported cows to be making noise on the flight in the first place

If the jackass wasnt making so much noise, think anyone would have even said anything in the first place

If they have to make "poor" people suffer through sitting with deportees because they rather not waste money on first class, they least they can do is sedate these people.
Fine not all of them make noise, however those that do should be dealt with as a way of RESPECTING REAL PASSENGERS/CUSTOMERS

Simple.

the point is BA has a very bad reputation home and abroad. i don't put it beyond them to do this. they have a high handed approach to everything. they refuse to take blame when they run late, they lose baggages they serve bad meals, treat naija people with utter disrespect,
i think Ruben Abati's article helps say part of our pains

I am glad some Nigerians are finally deciding to step up and take action. While i understand that some Nigerians act stupid on planes, but what about those of us that are civil and don't want to be judged just because we are Nigerians. I am doing my part as a Nigerian. I also am planning to purchase a ticket to Nigeria for christmas and i am going with delta instead of BA. to hell with the haughty brits! I think its time we use our consumer power, to protest this kind of ill-treatments of Nigerians aboard BA especially. I don't even want to know the story, but from what i have experienced with BA over the years and accounts from other people, i say don't fly BA, PLS FLY DELTA AIRLINES, they have direct flight from ATL to LAGOS, and u even save money cause u don't have to stop over at UK where u will need a freakin transit visa which cost money again, Excuse my Language but have always wanted to say this, FUCK the BRITISH CUNTS!

Well you can go ahead and call Mr Omotala a busy body, but I'm sure he was moved by something to do what he had to do not just as a Nigerian but a human being.  I have a feeling that Mr Busy Body was well aware of the implications of what he was about doing and he did it anyway so my guess is that the deportee was really in pain.

I don't blame him and won't.  BA may have banned him and his luggage damaged but I'm sure he will always remember that day as a day he did what he had to do.

I've signed my own petition far back.

Why create a scene? If you refuse to walk off the plane, you get carried / bundled off.

This whole Mr Omotade fiasco was caused by him, so if anyone's to blame, blame the deportee.

Thank you jare. . . "The Real Moderator"!  Especially when "NIGERIA" does not have it's own airlines.  How in the world will anyone in their right minds sign a petition against "Molue drivers" even in Nigeria, when we know what Nigerians can do?

Like I stated earlierthe only kind of vessels good enough to carry Nigerians anywhere in this world are "cargo planes" in the "bottom secret compartment" of any planeseperated from the "cargo".

And yes. . . "without lap belts"! Grin

Thank you. . . like he was in "Tejuosho Market or something"!  Never mind the fact that he is a bloody deportee. That tells you that he is no stranger to breaking laws.  Let him go back to Nigeria where such things are condoned.  I wish the "Busy Body" Mr. Omotola could have had his own citizenship revoked too.  What he did on that plane constitutes "terroristic interference" with a sub charges of "mob incitation"!  What a fool!

Any time I visit Nigeria, you see a bunch of these shameful looking deportees in handcuffs being escorted to the immigration officers in Nigeria under the scrutiny of serious looking security agents.  As soon as they are handed over to the immigration officers in Nigeria, they just run out of MMA so people do not recognizes them.  Shameless things! I really think they should have their own separate planes really like ReDeloaded stated.  Who wants to travel with criminals for crying out loud?

The fact that you think the dude was really "in pain" is amusing, delegiwa

Like you don't know Nigerians and their obnoxious ways of getting attention/sympathy even if it means distrupting peace and quiet.

The loser wanted attention and ending up disturbing the aircraft because of it, if anything he should be required to pay for Omotade's luggages.

Shooooooooo, this thread never die? Grin Grin Grin Grin

Na wa for una

Anyway, let me add some small kobos. . .

Apparently BA are legally obligated to transfer deportees back to their countries of origin.

http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/node/5886

Quote
British Airways and Virgin, who were contacted by The Independent, said their aircraft had been used for the purposes of escorted deportations as they were under a legal obligation to return failed asylum-seekers. A Virgin spokesperson said: "That is a matter for the Home Office, who makes immigration policy. We are simply not qualified to make those decisions."

British Airways refused to say how many removals it carried out each year, but said it adopted a policy of permitting one escorted or two unescorted removals per flight : "It is UK law and we comply with it – it's like asking whether we are happy paying income tax."

Mr. Omotade should have stayed his a$$ in his seat with some headphones or something if he didn't want to listen to a wailing Deportee.
