I don't blame them at all. Is it easy for them to even endure the noise level on these flights to Lagos. It's insane. They have to practically beg and plead with folks to sit on their seats and wear the seat belts. You'll see these illiterate traders returning from China and Singapore talking so loudly as though they own the aircraft. Turning a boeing 747 into Alaba and ogbete market. There was even one loud mouthed mama Iyabo taking off her braids on the plane and spreading lice  Some of these people ought to be tossed off the planes at high altitude I take God beg you!! remove ogbete from that list!!! abeg put Aba market or Main market Onitsha such bad things they do to us should be on the Nigerian airwaves all the time but they (the radio and tv) would prefer to talk about Jay-z and Beyonce |

Mr Omo did interfere in deportation procedure - fact.
The remaining 136 passengers sat in silent mutiny, which could have become a full on row at 37,000 feet - fact.
Bishop, if I was the pilot, and I felt feelings could run high amongst the 136 passengers once airborne, I'd refuse to fly with them - untill I was satisfied they didn't pose a risk! Such matters are at the pilot's discretion. Do you expect him to fly a 747, and have to think what may occur in the cabin, and concentrate on the flight? Come on!
In the UK, the police, army and even the Citizens Advice Bureau do not want to become embroiled in a racial issue, white folk are most likely to get booked for speeding, whilst a black / Asian will probably get a caution.
The racial slant shouldn't be applied to every situation where things don't go our way. And by the way, I shall continue to use BA as long as the prices favour me.

What then? All that ballast shifted rearwards for take off? He could have prayed in his seat, instead, he chose to create a scene. Luckily, he got another flight, albeit a later one..  |

Following allegations of serious disturbances and drunken antics on the aircraft shortly before take-off, police removed 30 passengers from the aircraft, a scheduled Flybe flight which was due to leave Glasgow at around 8.30pm on Wednesday bound for Belfast. On top of the alleged rowdy behaviour, the captain had passengers removed after smelling alcohol in the main cabin. Those thought to be involved remained in Glasgow, while the 17 passengers left aboard were flown to Belfast International Airport after a three-hour delay. A statement from Flybe said: "The captain discerned a strong smell of alcohol in the passenger cabin, and in the interests of passenger safety and comfort, he off-loaded the aircraft. "Given the subsequent late departure of the flight it was diverted to Belfast international where passengers were bussed to Belfast City Airport on arrival. "Passenger safety is paramount in all of Flybe's operations and an investigation is under way to ascertain the full circumstances of this incident. "The 17 passengers who travelled should contact customer services in Exeter to seek a refund." Who said that the Brit's wouldn't have cleared the plane had all those on board Mr Omo's flight, been their own citizens??? |
