No, come to think of it,why do some men beat up their wives??
i feel its a sign of irresponsibility and any man engaged in such should be ashamed of himself.
please, lets just be frank and candid with our replies,

Ok then, they are lovely Heroic Men who are the future of tommorow, infact, we need more of these type of men in society, is that better?

But u know sometimes women cld be frustrating,

Hmm, well if that is the case i beleive that the man should not retaliate physically but maybe try and calm her down and maybe even walk away. Shebi you guys don't know your own strengths? It's like comparing the feeling of a peice of cotton wool thrown on your head to that of a rock. Not saying that all women are weak but generally compared to men you guys have the advantage.

Well if she is a sane woman, she won't just burst your eye for no good reason   Obviously if it gets that serious and she becomes a lunatic you can defend yourself verbally but don't go too overboard with the self defence and turn it into a boxing match

When we speak of men beating up their wives we mean when he does it on a regular basis, infact even once is too much and also it depends on the way in which she provokes you, if she just said something you don't like you will be a coward for turning her into a punching bag, even if she hits you, try to be mature about it, there is no excuse
