It is window/wall unit.

how possible is it for 6500BTU/Hr to be equivalent to 2.5HP when 9000BTU/Hr is equivalent to 1HP and 18000BTU/Hr is equivalent to 2HP

I don't think 6500 btu is up to 1HP

1BTU/hr = 0.000393014779HP
1HP = 2545 BTU/hr
BTU/hr is different from BTU/min
Why don't you do a google search to check the conversion rates before making a liar out of me. One of the sites you can check out is www.weights-and-measures.com/xcomworkenergy.html.
I thought that since we all have online access, that people should do their homework first before this display of ignorance.
