Its not a new thing, We have closely followed this trend from a distance. OTEDOLA, the only elected CHRISTAIN Governor of Lagos , only benefitted from the tussle between Agbalajobi and one other person. When Fasola was popped up, the first question i asked was, is he a Muslimi and the answer was affirmative. YES, the the thread topic suggest, LAGOS STATE IS RUN BY A CLIQUE OF MUSLIM BROTHERS.

I know they are smart enoff  not to introduce sharia though, that would expose them.

Mc Omo, u lie, your statistics do not correlate. The question is name one Christain Governor of Lagos State, aside Otedola? forget LGAs, State House of Assembly and the little irritants down the ladder, show us one Christain Governor? The same trick Kaduna State plays time after time, get a muslim Governor and a Christain Deputy and everything is alrite.

Or u want to tell me there were no credible christain candidates?

with all the noise Femi Pedro made about Christians adopting him officially as their candidate . . . .what happpened  Huh

LAGOS BOASTS THE MOST ADVANCED ELECTORATE IN THE WHOLE OF THE LAND . . .SO FORGET PEOPLE VOTING ON RELIGIOUS BIAS   Cool

Are you saying 'they' put him there? you mean he didn't win the vote of the people?

perhaps if we concentrate on real things then we will get the job done faster, looking for religious trends of a state is a total waste of time

three or four credible candidates ran for election one of them who happens to be a mus.lim won whats he big deal?

@Mc Omo

Thanks jare

@Topic

Any wahala in this.

I don't care even if Mammy Water is the Governor. We want a performing governor. Shikenah!

LKJ is a great one and without doubt Awolowo's best governor in the second republic. He was the only muslim among the LOOOB governors but sit comfortably among others.

Tinubu is a muslim but it will be very hard for anyone to know.

He said capital NO to the intoduction of Sharia Law in Lagos.

If it's that irrelevant, why not let the office open for anybody that cares to run for it? Why discriminating against some eligible candidates based on their personal belief?

Well,  I have. I have lived over 75% of my life in that state and I do not see what you see. Hence the reason why I am asking for some sort of proof of this. Never really noticed any connection with religion when it comes to politics in Lagos.

If I did, I would not have asked you, would I??? I look at the same and I think those guys could be atheists for all I care. From my understanding of the average lagos life, religion is a part of life but not the main determinant when it comes to issues or which way people vote but you started the thread and I wanted to get an idea of what exactly you mean when you try to link religion and politics in lagos.

Looking for fire where there's none. I was born and bred in lagos state and it was never an issue. They might be Musli*s but thats again because of the demography. There is no pro-musli* or anti-christian clique in Lagos.

Don't confuse a 'Lagos person' with a Lagosian. There are many yoruba's that practice christiani*ty in lagos, but they all come from different states. I still say that most 'Lagosians'(people who's ancestry can be traced to  lagos) are mostly muslims. Are you  a 'lagosian'?
