It depends on the company u invested in. Some companies would leave u pissed off after 2-3 years. You got to be careful

@Crown007 and Ebonyj,

Go to the thread "Stock tips for nigerians". Start reading from page 1 and you will know everything you need to know about stocks. The thread has really helped me. But, I have realised that, what works for me is the Public Offers and the Initial Public Offers.

Check out these sites, I use them weekly:
www.nigeriansecurities.com - portfolio management of your stocks.
www.proshareng.com - information about everything happening in the Nigerian Stock Exchange
www.cashcraft.com - market trend - I don't use them.
www.zenithsecuritiesng.com - daily prices of stock.

I hope this helps.

To your success.

Investment is all about sowing a seed which will yield fruits in the future.
If this is properly done, you will have a cause to smile in the future. I will recommend a site that has a lot to offer in investments especially local and international stocktrading Learn a way to sow this seed  for future smiles.

Yeah ,  when u talk of investment, all u need is a maximum return on your bucks,   there are good investment programs  and firms out there. I've been investing in the currency market for the past 6years and i can tell u it's a great thing to do especially with a good fund manager. For example,, l'm up 90% already on one of ma currency trading accounts, the other is up 30% today. Hopefully before the end of this month, i should be getting a realised profit of over 120% at least. Attached below is an attachment on pdf file. This file shows month till date returns.

PS> The Currency Market is a RISKY Venture,   lol,  but highly rewarding.  If u're interested in what i do. u could give me a call on 08025853063 .

I trade just currencies for myself and my clients joining my team for a minimum of $10,000,   made 33.7% profits for each of my clients this month,  ,

If you're honestly looking for a nice return on your investment, consider investing in the FX,  although , it's a risky business but the reward is outstanding,

you could call me on 08025853063 08061682118 or visit www.currexgroup.com for details,

crown007 no trade forex with your money unless you know a good experienced trader that can manage your money. Forex is not a 'getup and go thing'. Even buying NSE stock is not the best unless you are ready to wait for a few years for your returns or you gamble with a stock and get lucky. If you must buy stock get a good background of the company stock you are interested in or rely on judgement of a good stockbroker.
I would rather advise you go into sales of recharge cards for multilinks, mtn,celtel, etc through a sub agent to keep your capital at the end of your trade.
