Sports Analysts In The House: What's Wrong With The Gunners?
« on: April 14, 2008, 11:11 AM »

This is a general talk to all sports lovers, particularly followers of the English Premier league, What's wrong with the Gunners? Ever since i started watching the premiership, i followed the progress of each team. What is worth noting is that Arsenal has been the only team never to have been relegated since the inception of the EPL, but in recent seasons it seems the team will start well but towards the tail end of the campaign, they'll run out of steam. Is it the fatigue, the youngness of the team, or the lack of experience that is causing this for the gunners? this will be the fourth straight season that the gunners will close a season without silverware. what do u think is causing this?

Seems you have not watched/researched enough on the EPL with comments like this "What is worth noting is that Arsenal has been the only team never to have been relegated since the inception of the EPL"

My problem with the dude is why doesn't he like investing in one or two experienced players.Agreed, his methods are good(building young raw talent into polished gems - look at the Fabregas of before and Fabregas of today) but there's nothing wrong in adding some exprerience into the fold. i feel that's where the guy is lacking. i read it on yahoosports this morning that there's about some 70 million pounds lying fallow in the Arsenal coffers.
