Girls Technology Camp

This educational camp will take place within the months of June to August and is targeted at girls from JSS 2 and SSS 2. For one week, the young women will live together and participate in technology classes, computer lab work, games and activities intended to foster team and leadership qualities. Camp participants will also discuss social issues, especially those that affect young women. At the end of the project, each participant will be expected to produce a project that will showcase how technology can be used to address a particular social problem.

NEW! The first Girls Technology Camp will take place in Lagos in August 2008. This camp is targeted at girls who are:
Intelligent, ambitious and currently in JSS 2 - SSS 2
Interested in and enjoys using computers and exploring the Internet
Planning or exploring a career using computers and/or other information and communication technology (ICTs) e.g. telecommunications
