@Akola,
I told u most Gunners here r soccer-illiterates.
They don't even know the difference between the Premiership and the OLD 1st Division.

I was reading anutha thread about the best strike partnership and one of em said Thierry Henry.
How can one player be a partnership?

The credibility of this forum is being smeared gradually and if care is not taken,it might get worse.

Jackal!
I take your above post as an insult to we new people in sports.
Its not fair!-Rectify a mistake if someone who seems naive has written.

I think sports is about interest and how one puts the point forward but not history narration.

Am a hockey player and the rules in football apply , so I think I can discuss football as well

@02,
"The most stupid idiot, "
Stupid idiot? Tautology i guess.

What we are saying here is The Premiership is just 14 years and should not be mixed with the old division.
Chelsea won the league in 1955 and that wasn't the Premiership but it was the 1st time they would win the league.

You r not only a soccer-illiterate but a stark illiterate.

Stupid idiot is not a tautology Mr Hucarson Shoyinka.

Stupid is an adjective and idiot is a noun, 02 only indicated how stupid the idiot he was talking about is!

No fighting Jackal, just an EXPO for Mr Hucarson Shoyinka.

I hope u don't start a beef here,

Spikelord Shakespeare,
I am sorry to break your heart by saying you're grossly wrong.
Stupid and idiot have the same meaning so the statement is absolutely tautological.
Check your dictionary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for at least displaying your own low level of literacy.
You have now confirmed Jackal's suspicions on Arsenal fans on Nairaland.

@ Skinny Titz.
Why r u all over me?
Do u have to go this far to get ma attention?

Fact is, i don't insult people. I am a strong-minded football fan and i will always speak the truth and nuthing but the truth.
Spikelord cannot argue he isn't a soccer-illiterate.

Lookie, it's no insult to say someone is a soccer-illiterate. It simply means he knows little or nothing about soccer. You don't expect everyone to know about soccer,do u? I don't understand why u think i am ornery to all Nairalanders who happens to support Arsenal.

I like Arsenal as a team. Dennis Bergkamp, was at a time someone i love as a kid but i just dislike the fake hype some gunner fans(especially Nairalanders) give the team.

Gooners often disregard objectivity and just post some dud comments that can be very annoying sometimes.
Some of em went so far to say Wenger is better than Ferguson. Imagine that?
Don't get me wrong,Wenger is a very good manager and he will always get better but peopz should not compare him to Fergie.
Feel me?

but the premier league evolved from the premiership so i guess it isn't stupid to use both in the same table, in that respect Arsenal has won back to back, that's if you agree that it isn't fair that we are not aknowledged for our past trophies because the present cup is no longer built on that concept
