How on earth do you expect me to pray befor such an act? If i get you right you are not talking of love making within the context of marriage, because if you are you will know that the act is already blessed before you start. since it is done within its natural domain. when it is done outside the ambits of marriage, haba it should not even be mentioned. it is sin. Plain, Pure and simple. you can only be asking God for forgiveness. If i find myself in that kind of situation i will be too scared to call on God because He is holy and should not be brought into any form of unrighteousness we engage in.

It really depends if both copoules suffer from child-bearing and the need God's intervention they can agree and pray but if the man/woman fill like praying before anything he/she can pray in secret and He that sees all things in secret will reward it not hypocracy that will kill the mood and constiute a nuisance or ignorance per say

I'm not married. It's a sin to engage in fornication. I regrettably have pre-marital sex. Habitually. Haven't done so in weeks. Doesn't mean I won't do it again. The prayers come afterwards. For forgiveness, if that would in any way be granted.
For married couples, it's different. Sanctimonious. Divinely-sanctioned. Go ye and multiply (I don't remember Adam marrying Eve though you can't deny they were linked: 1. She was made for him, consequent to him 2. She was made from him, complementary to him). If you're having marital/child-bearing problems, a mandatory precursor to love-making are prayers.
My dread of prayers before the act? It's like taunting the Almighty. What if, , , just what if he decides to strike you, heavily I mean, for spiting him. *snorts and sneers* Prayers before sex indeed! I'm on a celibacy run right now but the bouts of untamed sex are leaning on the doorpost. A matter of time. Heaven help us all!!!

hmmmm, if people pray before "making love" then its no longer as God has designed it to be, the "ACT" becomes porno and not love making, when you kiss you tend to forget yourself for that split second if you really or truly love the person you are kissing , how then will you remember to pray before it or during love making, please make me understand!!!
