"http://terrygreen.smugmug.com/gallery/1280988#62728180 I decided to open a thread with my responds here because my analysis is more or less about health rather than race.
I REALLY DON'T LIKE TALKING ON MEDICAL GROUND ESPECIALLY IN NAIRALAND WHERE EVERYONE IS INSULTED FOR SHARING WHAT S/HE KNOWS OR BELIEVES, AND BESIDES, I BECAME A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM FOR THE FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT ESPECIALLY ON TRAVEL MATTER BECAUSE, I LOVE TRAVELLING. I DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE GIVING MEDICAL LESSONS ESPECIALLY AFTER I WAS INSULTED FOR EVER SAYING MY PROFESSION (THAT WAS THE GREATEST MISTAKE I MADE IN NAIRALAND).
BUT BECAUSE THE ARTICLE OF THIS THREAD CONCERNING A BLACK PERSON HAVING BLUE EYES SEEMS AMAZING TO MOST OF YOU, I'VE DECIDED TO MAKE MY CONTRIBUTION.
Though it is something fascinating, but it is not supposed to be something desirable because such
blue eyes especially in a baby of black African race is usually due to Genetic Disorder known as Waardenburg Syndrome.
This condition reveals the presence of Congenital Albinism which is characterised with abnormal eye and hair suffuse (pigment) and (in some extreme cases) deafness.
Usually due to superiority or inferiority complex (depending on one's race), many people consider blue or green eyes beautiful but the scientific fact is: the development of any eye colour that is not
Brown or (depending on the variation of the amount of melanin)
Green is as a result of a medical condition known as Genetic Mutation.
So, (irrespective of race)
Blue eyes is as a result of this genetic mutation that interferes with the OCA2 gene in human chromosomes which has resulted in the forming of an organism comonly described as a
switch that essentially subdues the ability to produce brown eyes. The OCA2 gene codes for the nitrogenous organic compounds known as the P protein, which helps in producing the melanin, (that is the pigment that gives colour to our hair, eyes and skin).
This stuff is comonly called
switch, and it can be found in the gene close to OCA2 does not, nevertheless, turn off the gene completely, but instead, it reduces the ability to produce melanin in the iris (that's the muscular diaphragm which controls the size and colour of the eye pupil): this condition lessen the strength of brown eyes to blue ones.
In the event of extreme conditions of this development whereby the OCA2 gene had been completely destroyed or turned off, the person will then be without melanin in the hair, eyes or skin colour and this condition is known as extreme Albinism.
Note: there is absolutely NO natural thing that is BLACK in colour, not even the darkest human or Animal hair. Perhaps they appear black to the ordinary eyes, but in the real light, it's either extreme dark brown or blue. NO NATURAL THING THAT IS BLACK.
