Ever Had A Motor Accident Before? I Survived One This Morning! I just watched it happen. In that split of a second that seemed frozen into eternity your mind wander as you wonder, is this my last day on earth, why did I enter this bus, why did I embark on this trip, God why me? They are just uncountable. The danfo driver in order to avoid traffic pulled the usual James Bond stunt driving by climbing the side walk. This crazy dude was on speed, lost control almost plunged us in the ditch, God just swerved him back on the road he bashed a honda city. Thank God no life was lost. If you've had such experience maybe as a by-stander just share with us, if not share with us still.

Was involved in one a few years back. One part of the bridge was under construction and the driver didnt know because it was pitch dark, the fellow ran headlong at top speed into some dividers on the road, God saved us . . . we were a few inches away from falling off the bridge in to the water below.

But, what is this thread doing in the Heath section? It will definitely get enough attention in the appropriate section

But, what is this thread doing in the Heath section? Anyway, hear this: It was on the Greek Athens-Larisa-Thessaloniki high way, the road is wide and express with 10 lanes, (5 going & 5 coming) with a demarcation in the middle. I was driving at a very high speed in a brand new car with digital speedometer, i wanted to see how fast it could go, and i was at a speed of about 226 km/h. I was driving with extreme carefulness when eventually, my phone vibrated and rang in my back pocket, at such a speed, a little turn of the steering wheel was enough to cause a great disaster that almost took my life. Due to the sudden shock cause by the vibration, i lost control of the car as it zoomed across to the other side breaking through the plastic slabs that demarcated the either side of the 5 pair lanes, it crashed against the side of rock mountain and began to somersault, it somersaulted several times, and then rested up-side-down. All i could say then was "God save me, God, save me", and lo, he saved me, i came out of the car with superficial injuries or scratches that didn't leave scars on me, (except for very unremarkable ones on my left finger and wrist). The Greek police were called, and they in turn called the ambulance even though i was pretty OK (it is understandable, that is the protocol), the ambulance took me to the hospital in Lamia (Greece), and again, according to protocols) the hospital wouldn't let e leave until after 24 hours "observation period". Six months later, i received a letter from the Greek authority to appear in court for traffic violation. You see, in that very road, (as at then) there was no speed limit, it was a free drive high way, but that doesn't mean you'd get away with it in the event of an accident (which rarely occurs, though). At the court, the Radar (Speed Camera) record of my vehicle was read to me and it was confirmed that i zoomed past the last rather before the accident at a speed of 221km/h. I was given a fine of E500, yet, i didn't loss any point in my driving licence. But i lost my car in the crash. I remain grateful to God that i was alone in that car, a passenger wouldn't have stood a chance to survive that crash as i observed that the only part of the car that wasn't too crushed or twisted was the driver side. Please, thank God for me.

Theidiots on NairaLand will accuse the government - they will say it is the governments fault for not teaching the driver common sense.
Thank God for your life - Poster.
