I'll be working to get people out of ghettos by giving them a viable source of employment instead of refurnishing the ghettos only for them to remain poor.

Viable? in your opinion what is viable? Will viable be enough for them to refurnish their ghetto's or will you be just like the white man, not giving them a head start but expecting them to take the nothing earnings and make the best of it any way they can? As long as you can be able to say you did try to help those nothing negroes out, nothing else really counts right?

Quote
How does a poor child want to pay for medical insurance or bills?

My point exactly. You said because of their living conditions, they are dying. What about the Africans who are not rich and not even well to do who live in the shacks of Nigeria. For instance ,you your self said you were not rich, how did you, yourself get medical care?

My point being, living conditions does not determine a child dying from sickness. Had white people never came to Africa, Africans would never know what it means to be living in poverty. Now Africans use living in poverty as an excuse for everything negative that happens. This is why they worship white people and strive to be like them. All that matters to African people is not living in pitiful poverty which white man has labeled just by his existance in Africa. As a result, Africans are trying to be just like white people.

Quote
Secondly, I never said Paddy was lying about his silver spoonage. I just think he's an irresponsible spoilt brat for holding onto his living father's wealth at freaking 26.

Just because you can't be afforded to do the same, that is not Paddy's fault. I find it quite interesting that we complain about each other when one is doing better than the other. For instance how you pick on AA people for so called having the best in the US but not knowing how to use their resources. My response was, I don't see you complaining to white people for having everything handed down to them on a silver platter but you complain that blacks should work harder. Stop hating on your own people, don't be mad at Paddy because he comes from a family who did not exploit others to get their silver spoonages. Go talk that talk to white people and leave him alone, he has every right to claim his fathers wealth.

Quote
I'm not even that old and I realize that there is pride in what is mine.

People who never had anything always mistake pride with "I wish" I wish meaning I wish I didn't have to work so hard. Again, stop hating on Paddy. Hate on those Whites who got rich from exploiting Africa and Africans.

Quote
In Igboland, if you want to know a successful family, they'll show you their father's house and the house of his kids.

You mean how white people do? Rich white kids show what their family's have/wealth, which their family's so happen to  have from exploitation of blacks which is the wealth they keep passing down from white generation to white generation. The only difference is, those Igbo family's actually worked for it and didn't go about colonizing and enslaving in order to earn their wealth. It seems like to you, only white people are eligible to do what Paddy is doing, not black people. To you, Black people are supposed to struggle everyday of their life and only white people should have it easy everyday of their life. This is what Paddy is talking about when he says Nigerians are their own worst enemy. To me, black people period are their own worst enemy

Quote
A family filled with lost children, their father's home is all they have to show since the kids were never smart enough to build up theirs.

What makes you think Paddy isn't smart?

Ofcourse but as a man, he should strive to get his.

How did you deduce this?.  . . The white kids who flaunt their daddy's wealth like Paris Hilton are in the same league, lost spoiled brats. Got it now?

@ Sista if your dad is stinking rich then you may as well say no need to go to school and live off your dad.
Or you go to school get a job and be grateful to what your dad adds to your account. Or be grateful to the influence your dads name has in helping you make it.

What does "African booty scratcher" even mean?

I have never heard this and it seems kind of idiotic to say "African booty scratcher".

It would be closer to the point and more to the point if it was said that they were "European booty scratcher", eh?

Drusilla, round here it USED to be a real popular thing to call Africans,  waaaay back in the day, when Africans first began moving into the Urban areas in sizable/noticeable numbers. You know how it goes, the new kids on the block treatment. If your new, with strange ways,  you're going to get made fun of by the kiddies,  AA got it in large numbers when they began moving into the Northern Urban areas in large numbers, and then Asians got it from both blacks and whites when they began integrating into black and white areas, and then Caribbean folks and then Mexicans and Africans.

It's rarely ever heard anymore, as kids are become more and more accustomed to having Africans around as work mates, neighbors and friends. The last time I heard that term was like 10, 15 years ago. Booty Scratcher was a reference to Monkey, so when someone said African booty scratcher--- they were saying African Monkey.

Hero,

I never knew that.

Here I am thinking "of course Africans scratch their own booty", who will do it for them?

The problem I find is when Africans are "scratching the whiteman's booty".

oh well various people scratch various booties, white bootie, black bootie, yellow bootie, spotty bootie, hairy bootie etc that's the way it goes for some. Sometimes people do what they got to do to get by. All this cutting your nose to spite your face wont put food on the table for many so lets get real/.

why make it your problem who is scratching what booty?(its like you stating you alone are going to reverse all the damage done to the climate and reverse the green house effect and stuff. we know the damage is there but how many people actually make the effort to do their bit for the globe? )  surely you must know by now there are so many things that can not be helped. Plus not that many black people kiss white ass as you may like to think. All this high and mighty atttitude for what?? to make yourselves feel better?

Listen take it from me. it is not about why people scratch booty, it is about HOW. if you smart enough to know how to kiss ass without getting a face full of shit then boy you got my vote. I know for sure Nigerians don't take crap from nobody, why do you think there are so many successful Nigerians(shame about the state and govt ) but you get the idea Smiley

It's probably the reason African American Women make more money than White women while simultaneously African Americans are the most isolated group in America.

if we leak our name calling secrets to them, i wonder what we shall be left with. the name calling is everywhere, there is no society that don't have a kind of name it calls another society. some are innocent and don't really mean anything, its just a means of identifying people not from your area. when an interpretation of such words come in another language, it may have taken away the original meaning and if everyone interpretes certain words as they see it or as they hear it, we will all be in trouble.
