@SeanT21
I see you guys winning today but you still have to go back to Boston to win again which would not be easy
@Jesoul
Your form on home and road games are like night and day the difference is just too much and Ray Allen has not played squat so far in this series

  I got my fingers crossed  Smiley  too bad I won't be able to watch the game  Sad, I will be at a spokenword showcase Smiley  but I have faith in the three-party and Ray Allen MUST show up tonight oh or else I will reduce my number of husbands to only Pierce and Garnet  Cheesy
  We should be able to prevail against the injured Cavs, and I think Pierce will carry this game, he's been playing better and better.

  and as for the Hornets, I expected a much better showing but I am not in the least bit suprised the Spurs spanked them. Game 7 will be very very intresting. . .

Allen is very unpredictable. Sometimes, he's amazing like crazy, other times he's just not cutting it. He needs to be consistent.

As for my sweet darling Hornets, Yesterday was a complete disaster especially when west hurt his back again. i hope he's fit enough to come into game 7 and finish up in peace.

the Cavs must win Game 7 in boston. i am afraid because its a road game. Cavs don't usually win road games. The fans booing at them gets their head all messed up. GOD IS OUR SAVOIR!! I will love to see the cavs vs lakers in the finals.

I want to see the hornets win, but I just can't bet against the spurs; they have too much experience. I forsee various dirty plays during the game. Don't be surprised if Vaughn or Udoka get ejected for messing up CP3's ankle in the first quarter. same thing they tried/did to D.West.

@JeSoul
Once again you guys fail on the road.Hmm if you guys escape Cleveland trust me you wont escape Detroit

@Lasiefaire
Kobe did his thing yesterday infact the whole team played well all their starters where in double figures their frontcourt, backcourt that team is just too complete and to think there are doing all this without Bynum is scary but you guys did take your feet off the gas in the fourth quarter and where lucky to get away with it the Jazz had two chances to drag the game to OT but they failed Okur and Williams missed both shots

@J-girl
Go hornets you guys must end the evil tyranny of the Spurs and if you don't hopefully the Lakers will but you can do it i just hope Dave West would be fit on time and 100% too

I was just about to say the same thing to JeSoul. I have almost no love for Detroit but I actually love Rip Hamilton (he's cute, lol). They will rip Celtics apart if they cannot win a road game. Pistons are amazing on the road.
As for the Hornets, I might not watch game 7 because i'm not going to be around so i need my allies to update me every quarter, lol. However, I will be praying that they win and really end this disaster of Spurs going to the Western Conference finals. My other issue is that New Orleans vs. Lakers might be a scary game but like Avery Johnson and Doc Rivers say - we're taking this one quarter at a time.

SeanT21, I'm sorry to say but Cavs might possibly not win the game tonight. IF they do, I'll have a new level of respect for them. If they don't, at least you know they tried. Have solace in the fact that Celtics might completely mess up against Pistons.

  phew. . . Grin Boston in the East finals. . . That was a great game! I only caught the last quarter but what a game! Pierce vs. Lebron, one of the greatest duels I've seen in basketball. I am reminded why Pierce is my husband again  Grin
  But seriously I have a new found respect for Lebronhe was incredible but too bad he has no supporting cast, he can't do it by himself. On to the pistons 2moro nightgosh I hope the Celtics will even be able to get any rest at all . . .

  Spurs -  Hornets? against my better judgement I'm going to pick the Hornets to win,  Smiley I think they'll provide a better challenge and more intresting drama to the lakers than the tired old spurs could.

Ohh u guys want to ride on homecourt advantage all the way to the finals keep riding till the wheels fall off it was a really narrow escape for you guys i feel really sorry for Cleveland they gave their all well at least Lebron and Delonte West did the rest Cavs where just whack and i don't know how much Lebron would be able to keep up with  such a shitty team this dude hit 45 and the next scorer hits just 15 points its pathetic i mean those guys would not even make the playoffs if they where in the West.Now to your overhyped Big 3 all i can see is a Big 1 (Paul Pierce)K.G was average and Ray Allen was a waste of space he could only muster 4 points you guys wont be so lucky with Detroit ooh.

@J-girl
Tonight is the night i am sure Chris Paul,Chandler and Dave West will be all fired up

Hey ya i feel for you guys ooh all you needed to do was win game 6 at San Antonio and it would have been a different story because in a game 7 homecourt advantage does not count at all.Remember the 05 Eastern Conference Finals between the Pistons and the Heat the road team won and even 06 Western Conference Semis between us and the Spurs we went to San Antonio and won the Jazz did the same against the Rockets.It was a good run though better luck next year.

I feel ashamed for writing off these Spurs team i would probably do some reverse pshychology and support the Spurs so maybe they could lose

My instincts wouldn't let me bet against the Spur, they are the most consistent NBA team, they hardly disappoint. Good run for the Hornets though, they did a great deal to lift the spirit of the people of new orleans.

  I knew it  Smiley I knew I shoulda known better than to count the champs out. But that was a very uninspired effort by the Hornets, they did not play with a sense of urgency, they did not play like it was a game 7. What a sad way to end the season, they'll be hurting all summer long.

  A-40,
    be like say the cavs loss really upset you? Cheesy
hey if the Celtics keep on being babies on the road that is fine with me as long as they win at home! A championship is a championship though I concede it'll be a diminished one in the eyes of everyone (including themselves) if they cannot get over their road woes. Nevertheless based on observation I think the Celtics play better and harder against the tougher teams, I think the take they lesser teams for granted and hence keep getting caught unprepared. We'll see what happens tonight.

 Besides Detroit also has their issues. . . have we all forgotten it wasn't that long ago everyone was insulting them for losing @ home game 1 to philly. It will be a fun series to watch - hopefully Green will win  Cheesy

Naah i am not but i don't think you deserve the ring if you don't win on the road.And trust me you guys will not win this championship if you don't win on the road,because championship teams always close out games on the road.Besides you where lucky with the Cavs if those guys had another player on their roster half as good as Lebron you guys would have lost i still feel you will win tonight though.On the Hornets issue i guess they lost the series in game 6 going down by 20 at San Antonio game 7 can go either way so why go through the drama.Thats why i loved M.J and the gang their series always ended in 5 or 6 games with them closing it out on the road

   hate to admit it but you're right  Angry   Smiley  maybe we'll make history as the only team to not win a road game and win the title Cool wishful thinking, I know.
 I do love teams and players that have that killer instinct, those that will lay it all out on the floor whether they win or lose. As much as I love Garnet he doesn't have it, that aggressiveness. The first 2-rds have def been eye-openers, for the Celtics and even for the city of Boston. We were already salivating for an nba title and I was already making plans to skip work and attend the parade when they won  Grin  I know I was getting waaaaayyyy ahead of myself there.   lol . . . it even sounds good to me too, I like the guy Smiley. The NFL has investigated and investigated and have said there is nuthin more to it. We all know Roger Goodell is a tough leader and takes things serious and he himself has said he is satisfied and there's nuthin more. And then for some bored, overfed, jobless senator to try to create a conspiracy where there's none at taxpayers expense Angry  that's what annoys me.
  If Sen Spector wants to conduct an investigation from his own pocket, by all means, let him carry on. But there's no justification for a fishing expedition just because "he is not satisfied".

    But the thing is it has already been investigated!  There're trying to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq when there are none. Heard again last night Roger Goodell said he's not going to further any more 'investigations'. Good for him I say. People are just trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. I'd rather mr Senator worry about why I'm paying almost $4 for a gallon of gas.

 And I hear you about how the losing sides might feelbut common we're looking at this as if the Pats had some great advantage. Taping in the NFL is allowed! just not from the sidelines which is what the pats did, big deal I say. That is not the reason those teams lost and the Pats won.

  Roger Clemens just continues to shame himself and prove he's a liar. You musta heard about his "apology" to his family for "mistakes" which were basically him cheating on his wife. It looks like he has to drop his defamation suit against Mcnamee because his rep is ruined as it's now been proven he's a liar. I don't know why he won't just come out and confess and set himself free. Huh

It's almost like a religion out here- you convert to Patriotism/Redsoxism/Celticism. I wasn't really into it the first couple of years but after a while it kind of grows on you. Boston and NY are rival cities in everything.

For me its just fun and games, I never take it seriously like some of those fanatics spending 1000's on tickets and staying up late and buying jerseys and running outside like mad people like they just won the lottery etc nah not for me Smiley

i know what those fans are goung through. anytime  the redskins and the Cavs lost my whole week is horrible. Its like i am connected to them. Boston vs New York is like Washington vs Dallas. The redskins hate the cowboys and the cowboys hate the redskins. Same with Boston and NY.

I feel the cumin back from a big deficit against def. champs san antonio in game1, (nt sure if he wanted it to get it to 20) as risky as it was, was a delibrate plan by kobe to boost the confidence of his team mates and to toy wit the emotion of the spurs (in the playoffs emotions matter a lot, same tin san antonio did in game 1 of the pheonix series). This further solidifies the greatness of the 'black mamba' ( ablilty to manage the game & teammates)
