As the topic implies, OpenGL 3D graphics benchmarks for the aforementioned phones.
N95 and iPhone are closely matched (on paper) where it comes to 3D graphics performance. Expectedly, the two other smartphones (SE p1i, Dell Axim x51v) lag far behind.
Analysis? Mobile gamers using the iPhone or the N95 should have themselves a visual treat. My only concerns are#
1. Lack of physical buttons on the iPhone 2. Reduced graphical fidelity on Ngage games as developers try to make games for the least common denominator: N-series without 3D hardware embedded.
One thing that's immediately visible from the benchmark tests: the N81 is absolutely rubbish for gaming. It's got no hardware accelerated graphics, and it pales in comparison to the N95 and N93.
Just read that Nokia will offer two versions of ngage games: one with 3d acceleration, the other for software rendering phones eg N81.
The N93 is surprisingly highest on the list, just ahead of the N95 and the iPhone.
