Am based in the US and currently building a house somewhere in Ikotun Egbe, i jst finished the decking for the house which cost me about 2.6m, now am about to fence the building and the developer is charging me 820k naira, thou the next building to me already did its fencing which helped me a bit, so whats left to be fenced is the right hand side, the back and the front plus gate,(i hope you understand) please i need someone to advice me if i should go on with the fencing for 820k as he said thats the lowest he can go, am already feeling ripped off over the decking of 4 flats, 4bed rooms and all ensuit that he did for 2.6m, please somebody advice, kenny

Give me the measurement of the front. back and righthand side of your plot and of course your desired fence height and maybe I can come up with something more POCKETLISTIC[b][/b]

I really can not tell the measurement, until i ring who's in charge of it, but its a standard plot, any price range please?

Hmmm, well in the absence of that info, I based my calculation on 2.4m fence hieght and 36m length side. (I took the righthand side measurement to be on the safe side)
2300 vibrated blocks @ 150= 345k
50bags of cement @ 1500= 75k
8tips of 10tons of sharp sand @ 18000 = 144k
Gate = 25k
labour (for ALL i.e excavation of 1foot, blinding, gravel for some column casting @ 2.7m distance and to hollow fill the blocks, mounting of gate, etc) = 160k
Egbe side no need iron rods column except for the gate, 6length of 16mm iron rod will be ok.
This gives you about 750k in TOTAL.
Estimated time of delivery = 4wks
