The British Council in conjunction with African Hip Hop Movement will be hosting the monthly Words and Pictures (WAPI) seminar come the April, 26.
The African Hip Hop Movement is an initiative of ace lyricist, Mode 9. The movement is a body consisting of artistes, DJs, on air personalities, Hip-Hop heads and veterans. It is backed with the determination to orientate the Nigerian and African populace about Hip Hop and what it represents.
Words and Pictures is an initiative of the British Council. The monthly programme is designed to discover young and talented writers, artists and musicians. It will also serve as a medium to relay the objectives of African Hip Hop Movement.
