Girlfriend Denies Him Getting Us Visa

When my friend received notification of his selection by the US Consulate in Kentucky for a visa in the American DV Lottery last year, we were ‘over the moon’ with happiness. However, as part of the processing, he needed to get some details from his girlfriend he had claimed to be his wife. But that was where the problem surfaced: the girl just refused to cooperate! Because of this, he couldn’t submit on time – until it was too late!

Well, it happened that she got admission at a renown university briefly before then, but the guy is not a university graduate (in fact, he didn’t finish secondary education), although he has developed himself in other areas. More so, she has been a good girl before her going to the university.

I’ve been perplexed by the situation, which has thrown up few questions in my mind:
1) Why didn’t she tell the guy not to include her in the application?
2) Why couldn’t she cooperate so they could get the visa before changing her character?
3) What could really be the problem with her?

It’s almost certain that my friend has lost the chance to use migrate to the US now. But, in your opinion, what could be the reason for this fallout?
