Nigeria's Misplaced Priorities
« on: April 25, 2008, 07:18 AM »

So let me get this straight:

1. Electricity supply is at an all time low and nobody's complaining.

2. There are bad roads all over the place and nobody's complaining.

3. There was some sort of fuel scarcity a number of weeks back and no one actually complained.

The above are just a few examples.

On the other hand,  British Airways supposedly maltreats a number of Nigerian passengers and a lot of people raise hell.

Seriously, what gives?

Shalom!

All the problems you enumerated notwithstanding, British Airways has no right to treat Nigerians in a less than decent way. Our national problems does not make us inferior human beings that can be tossed about by an over-rated airline.
Every possible reaction is acceptable to protest this habitual treatment from an almost racist airline.
