ATM, now refuse dump

Two times now, i used different ATM machine and got 'battered' naira notes.

Gone were the days that we do get 'minted' notes from ATMs, now i think what the banks do now is to put notes which have been rejected by CBN into the ATM 'because they know u have no choice than to take it (na machine u wan complain to?).

And the fact that you use a machine far away from where you stay, how do you want to complain to the bank?

This is quite shameful, turning ATMs into refuse dump for useless naira note, NIGERIA!!!

Its a shame that any bank would do that. I'm  sure banks have a way of claiming new bank notes from CBN by exchanging the battered notes. Why a bank would push battered notes back into the system beats me.
