Can any Yoruba person tell me what is the brideprice if you want to marry a Yoruba girl?

it depends on the family the girl comes from
there is no set price in yoruba land
some families won't even take any money from the husband/guys family

some people are stans of the western culture. i wonder why anyone in his or her right senses would equate 'price bride' as selling a piece of meat in the market. i just don't get it.

oh please, some people sell their wives for financial gain while others do it as a ceremonial thing. in reality, money is hardly exchanged. what is exchanged is usually stuff like malt drink(memories), yams, rice and other goods.
