champions league started since 1956. the only premiership side that has pull much weight is liverpool. 1956 till 2008 is 52 years, meaning 52 champions league finals out of which 9 went to premiership sides. which is equivalent to the 9 won by laliga side real madrid. it therefor means that real madrid has equal win with all premiership sides, what a shame. As long as champions league is concern spanish league is the best followed by italian league. german league and english league are struggling for 3rd position. has any premiership side produce any world footballer? This is because premiership is for those still learning how to play football or for those that have giving to other leagues their best and decides to come and play in the premiership because he can no longer perform well. English league is too weak, No good player would want to play for any premiership side. Don't mention premiership when it comes to real football. keep saying LALIGA, SERIA and BUNDLES LIGA.
