Some dudes go around acting all holy and virginal, being strict about what they would and would not accept in their future wife, while totally overlooking that their own dxck has dipped into several honey pots along the way to the alter. Cool

Unfortunately, I cannot deny that.  Cry

Guys are smart enough to know they can deny any baby

Gals should be smart enough to avoid any unwanted pregnancy

If they were outsmarted by their womb & conceieved

They should be wise enough not to commit murder ( or suicide )

After not commited whatever is commitable , they need to be brave enough to face whatever needs to be face ( which includes , disgrace , father and mummy angry , blah , blah , blah )

After bravery , comes responsiblity

They should be responsible enough to accept they have made the greatest mistake in life and get ahead with it

After being responsible, they need to pick up from where they left and no go work in ( Kroger or Walmart ) Instead, they need to get aim for a professional life so when men see them they would want them

By the way, If the manager of Shell is single and has a kid , For why , the whole men in the world would rush to take her hand

But if they Kroger staff , has a kid and is single

Men like me would aim for a 1 night shoot out

 Wink

Ability to be humble

Don;t go trying to be on about you and your kids , Just take it as a blessing and make your shout out when you got a certificate to back your ass up

I have to say I'm a little disappointed bolex - much of your above statement sounds very sexist - begining with the very first sentence.

How about backing up your preaching with a few words to the blokes about keeping their dxck in their pants. Then perhaps some words about them standing by their responsibilities. Females don't go around impregnating themselves - if there's going to be any finger pointing at least be fair and point to the blokes as well.

 Cool

hey guys

I just want to say

If you want to f*ck a girl

Get ready for the worst to happen

and If you impregnate  the girl

Accept the responsibilty

& FACE IT

That way

You going to know you a man

& not a kid

running from his own hand-made trouble

By the way , condoms is not 100% guranteed

It is actually 100% unsafe

@skidoc, skinla and bolex. I do agree with you guys and to some extent with papermoon. Some single mothers are just don't know their priorities. Example, go to night clubs and see plenty of them their instead of looking after that kid before he or she grows up to rubb me in the future.

Also why have sex with someone you have no feelings for, someone who you know is not responsible?. Did i hear someone say its love? That na lust. That is one of the reasons why pre-martial sex is not advicable, it creates a lot of complications such as the one we are discussing here. Close your legs ladies and guys keep Uncle Jouhnny Kita Watson in your pants.

I have a cousin who got pregnant at the age of 18 to an inresponsible Nigerian guy, who took advantage of her, but she still managed to excel. Ask why? She took a year out instead of going to uni that year to study law, she then got her priorities right, she went back to uni to study that law and she found a man who accepted her with the kid. Now she is a Law graduate, married, now with two kids. Whereas you see the rest of the single mothers parading night clubs. Now i can get married to someone like my cousin because she knows what she is doing.

Yes Rap music do contribute to this issues along with the way the society has been structured and the goverment.

Yes we are breeding society of criminals if the issue of teenage pregnancy is not addressed effectively. Also most single mothers tries to justify what has happenned to them by some babaric statements.

Papermoon,
I am going to accept you as you are.
I have been in family planning methods programs for the Planned Parenthood for years.
I am totally against unwanted pregnancy and lest you say I boast, I believe in leadership by example. I promote and I practice self-control, safe sex and no sex until you marry.

It takes two to tango.
But you can refuse to give him your mango.

Single girls keep your doors closed and don't leave them wide open.

Sex is not by force, except it is rape. And rape is the worst crime against  the female sex.

SAY NO TO SEX UNTIL MARRIAGE!

@Babwilms, I quite agree with you too. But I don't quite understand this one about single Mums and night clubs. Are you saying that single Mums most usually parade night clubs? Girls who don't have babies also go to night clubs. I used to frequent night clubs before and I never met any single Momma. Can you tell me their exact hangout locations? Grin

@ASHIWAJU, i don't know about you, BUT I don't DO CONFUSED,
IS IT SOO STRANGE TO YOU THAT PEOPLE GET PREGNANT FOR A MAN AND THEN FALL OUT WITH HIM?EVEN MEN GET WOMEN PREGNANT THEN REALISE IT JUST WONT WORK??
OR DID I GET THAT FROM SPACE?
BUT IF THINGS don't WORK OUT, I'm SAYING WHY BOW TO PRESSURE AND JUST MARRY "JUST BECAUSE" IT SEEMS THE RIGHT THING TO DO
OR ARE YOU TELLING ME EVERY MAN WHO GOT A WOMAN PREGNANT IS HAPPY WITH IT?
OR EVERY WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN RANDOMLY IMPREGNATED IS ALSO GLAD THAT SHE IS HAVING A BABY?
ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS KEPT HER BABY TILL THE 8TH MONTH CUS THE GUY WAS ALL SUPPORTIVE.BUT THEN HE REALISED HE WASNT READY FOR SOMETHING SO DEMANDING AS A BABY, PEOPLE PRESSURED THEM TO WORK IT OUT ETC AND STAY TOGETHER "FOR THE BABY", LETS JUST SAY THEY ARE BOTH GLAD THEY DIDNT.
IN LIFE CHNAGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT THING, ATIMES WE DO THINGS AND ALONG THE LINE WE WISH WE COULD REVERSE IT, BUT WHEN ITS NOT REVERSABLE WHAT ARE WE TO DO??
JUMP OFF A CLIFF?? Cool
GET IT??

@SKIDOC, WHATS UP SWEETY, IVE BEEN IN PRAGUE O, BUT I'm IN LONDON FOR A DAY THATS WHY I'm GETTING MY NAIRALAND FIX.WHATS UP WITH YOU??

See, Help the kids to grow, you seem to have a strong heart, perhaps you have gone through enough tha u want to share but mind what you say for the interest of those who have not been there and don't know what it really is. don't Encourage that strong believe that you can always have a child and then decide that its not working atall, its not good for the child and its not good for who ever has to take up the responsiblities. If its worth having a kid then its worth staying with for real and if the motive was sex,let em kip it up after all you stay in marriage for one reason or the other, if not for the kids, its for love and if its not for money, its for sex. There sha must be reason to stay in marriage

@skidoc. Come to M2, baby ground in manchester. All clubs in london. I am not saying single parent should not enjoy their self because of the situation they are in, but they should not be doing it frequently. I mean you take a lady home after clubbin, only to get to her house and you are about to get ur groove and the kid woke up to interupt you.

Even if the mother have taken the baby to one of her friends or family house because she is going clubbin tonight. Don't you all agree that the kid would be esposed to somethings he or she shouldn't be exposed to e.g. drugs, smoking, bad company and many more without the knowledge of the mother. Whereas if she was doiing her duty well it wouldn't be the case.

@2cantango. I am just explaing things i've heard from my  friends who have experienced it. I am not in support of pre-martial sex. By the grace of God i will wait till i get married. Its not that i ain't interested in getting my groove on as well, but because i know what i want and to avoid complications such as the one we are discussing here.

Also don't you know it has become a normal thing in london to meet a girl in club, chat her up take her home and have sex on the same night. Even if the guy is not interested the girl will initiate it. She doesn't care. At least it has happenned to me on 3 occassion and many of my friends. That basically shows a a messed up society we live in.

Hope you understand where i am coming from, their fore i expect a single lady to know how duty because i know my a young man, who tries as much as possible to follow the will of God.

@babwilms:

I understand what you're saying now - sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm not in London so I'm not aware of what goes on at the night clubs there, or anywhere for that matter. I personally think that anyone who goes to a place like that to chat up, hook up and whatever else, is messed up, regardless of gender. It can't be viewed as a one sided issue, or gender specific problem. Both the male and the female are aware of what is happening, or what may happen, so if they knew they don't want it to happen, they shouldn't be putting themselves in the position where it very well may happen.

We focus on the girls, because they are always the victims in most cases.
When we talk of teenage pregnancy, we don't talk of the boys.
Do boys and men get pregnant?

If you keep your doors closed, nobody can come in.

The girls bear the consequences while the boys go for a walk.

Why all the blablabla?
You think I am preaching?

Papermoon, you seem to love sex and you miss your hubby?
I pray you get another hubby to keep you warm and support you to look after your twins.
Two good heads are better than one you know.
God knows you need a helping hand.

No woman is fulfilled without a man.
