Based on posts I have been reading on here recently and questions from people who anonymously "harass me (but I digress, but u know urselves

)" on YIM, I feel compelled to post this topic.
For those of you here in the US, what advice would you give to your people back at home if they suddenly called you to say they were making the move to america? For me, I would say:
- America doesn't guarantee you success. It only guarantees you the opportunity to succeed
- You may need to start small.
- You definitely need to b humble
- Open your eyes with the aim being to see what you can take back home to improve it.
I will stop here and wait to here from you all.
I hope, like other posts of mine, this generates a lot of replies.
