who tha mess talked about copyright should put down that crack pipe 4 real, were would 50 cent or interscope listen to the music to then talk of copyright,  if they don't know he used 50'z voice then they can't sue, they not going to hear it so they not going to sue. besides 50 would spend more money paying legal fees than he would ever gt if he sues,  COMMON SENSE FAM!!

To me, this song did not feature 50cent. Saying 'Yeah' is more than enough to write an artist name as being featured in a track. But it was not written against the track that it featured 50cent (tired of repeating this same thing). So why bringing up this copyright thing up again?

i see most peeps don't know what is eligible for copyright or not, you don't have to pay any royalties if you don't sample up to 30 seconds of the artist creativity. thats how its worked out,,  safe fam!!

You just Bragging IQ, IQ, IQ
You just bragging on a worthless point you trying to analyze, what does chicken at oshodi has to do with this and saying fellow musician dissed him on his own track is absolutely nonsense. if that`s how you understand it then tell the world that that`s how your brain could difine a simple line saying we need peace to move on even if we no be equals apart from both of them (eedris and ruggedman), Most artistes are not equals because they all represent and elevate their own game to their personal standard and originality. Ruggedman based on rap mixed with pidgin and fluent english while eedris do little bit of rap but makes most of his debut with singing in afro hip hop style( oko achewo, Mr lecturer, Jaga jaga). E.g: Snoop dogg droped sensual seduction but we knws him as a rap artist but what he is trying to proof is the originalty in him. even IQ of 8 You mentioned you had ealier on could easily testify that they were not equals. so if that means diss to you then i suggest u keep on posting, one day God might do a miracle in your life to post something reasonable.

Note: this will be the last time i will be responding to your useless posts because doing that is like wasting a preciuos time on worthless things.

Go get a life Wink

So this is your best attempt at making sense Huh
Aight let me explain it to you in the best way even you will understand

-Most rappers use tongue-in-cheek comments at their rivals when they need to.
-Ruggedman has been called a faker by rappers like Modenine
-Ruggedman has earlier dissed Eedris silly in other songs
-A recent example is /fakers dey rule why we real rappers dey messed up/ in 'Ruggedybaba'
-Meanwhile Modenine et al call Rugged a crap emcee
-Eedris offers the olive branch and asks for a collabo
-There's two sides to it
-Accepting it mean he could get more swipes from Modenine and others that'll call him a faker
-The other side is olive branches are never rejected
-What does he do, simple, send a message to his critics on the same song
-/Even though we no be equals/- means, 'I'm not saying he's good yet, I'm not going back on my diss'
-That way, Eedris and his cognition-challenged fans don't understand

That's how I'll explain this thing to anyone that has a brainage of 5
if you can't understand it like this, then your case is more pathetic than I thought.

@dready
I know Eedris was at his best on that track, but is that what he dropped that made this imbecilic asswipes start talking trash?
Even Eedris knows Ruggedman almost killed his career, even before the 50 thingy
It's simple, you can count twenty Nigerian rappers that'll floor Eedris one on one
You won't believe that this Abdulfuckever dude posts after every other post
The dude is so freaking obsessed, just wanted to point out to him that his dream fagmate doesn't even measure up

Nevermind, we that know the rudiments of the rap game understand what you are on about. . but this is a just a forum where bunch of ignorant people claim to know more than the learned. . it wouln't do you much good if you kept on posting here.

@poster,
Eedris is still living in 'Omode meta' years. . that song was nowhere near what I'll want to devote some 4MB of my i-pod to.

Don't try turning your lame posts at me, iite?? because

1. I said the 'Omode Meta' years, I din't say he sang it but I meant that his what his standard is

2. @the Unix guy, there is actually a rap forum on Nairaland, don't tell me you din't know that. . so I'd pretty much say Eldee is still on the right track

3. Back to the Abdu guy, it might surprise you to know that your 'KING' is not recognised outside the confinements of the 'Hiphop farm' Nigerians have created. . so try getting that straight into your wherever you think with

Yo, for starters, we were down to analysing the track - Welcome to Africa not comparing artistes, so Chronique, You'RE REALLY OFFTOPIC NOW. But to do justice to your 'word' that is meant to be 'enough' for the 'wise', I'm abe doin a few critiques. .

Your first post, you said if you're tight show us what u got or shut the fc*uk up - where's your isht? Huh?

Secondly, you come lecturing about rap styles and sh*it and you can't spell metaphors???

Nobody was really into whether Mode 9 is better (when i say nobody, I mean out of the Eedris stan's that have got good points) or sh*it. . It's all about is his track tight or not. And your making reference to rap-party tracks: IS 'WELCOME TO AFRICA' A SONG THAT YOU SEE YOURSELF DANCING TO IN UR RAVE?Huh?

Yo, you said 'rap is different from msg'. Dude, are you sure this was not just another attempt at increasing your post count?? Cuz rap means rhymes and pattern don't mean that's all to it. The main reason for any song is to pass a message - dance, think, introspect, beef, whuteva.

Dude, I wonder who invited you to battle but damn, if you ain't a chicken with the mouth of a peacock, honour that battle.

PLACE YOUR MOUTH WHERE YO MONEY IS, EEDRIS IS WACK

honestly, this' ma be the last time i'm replyin on this.

meant for opinions, innit what u said? i gave mines and you're jumpin on my neck like i ate your fish or sumn. and for rap, rhythm and pattern is the most sought after that's why you have categories for analysing verses: 'delivery' and 'flow' and 'multis' so yeah, you're a little too much old school on that.

I'm not sayin Eedris ain't a good artiste, I'm sayin he's not a rapper. . I won't call Soulja Boy a rapper too, d'you get my gist now? Commercial success doesn't make you what you're not. Cuz Nas is a good rapper, does it make him a good poet/writer?

Just for the records, I've listened to bare Eedris song's, even the lecturer one, pretty edy-taining stuff but he ain't a rapper, simple as ABC. Cuz a goat walks and eats with the dogs doesn't make it a dog. Look now, y'all got me spittin' proverbs.

@Shaz
Exactly my point, if he's claiming to be the best Naija misician, fine with me. . .It's not my biz
But to say you're sum King of Hiphop in Nigeria Huh That's just BS
Hiphop's followership is just too religious to accept a mediocre just like that.

One good thing about rap is that, no matter how far you try to distance yourself, you'll still get judged with the bests.
I mean, if you claim to be an emcee, you'll still get judged as the best rappers are judged.
As I said before, let him stick to his Afro-fuckeva music, no probs
But let him leave the 'hiphop' thingy out of it.

And about the pioneer of hiphop thing, I wonder how you call speaking in tongues rap? Huh
Seriously, what happened to them TripleT, Sound Sultan, Baba Dee, Black Reverendz?
What happened to 'Mathematics', 'We Can Make It (One Day E go Better), 'Shake Body', 'Sodi E', 'Omode Meta'?

Those were the real pioneers of Naija Hiphop, at least they used to speak english or sumn else we could understand Grin
All these dementia patients that don't know the next thing about hiphop come here screaming rubbish

Just because of two tracks, Shade and Shakomo, that weren't even hiphop, all these sodomites are here screaming their asses out.
It beats me when people mistake his ignorance for arrogance.
You can only be arrogant when you're good, say like Ruggedman, Modenine or sumn

@Chronique
I'm sorry but you can't just get a battle with anyone like that
You've gotta climb the long ladder on the rap thread, step by step
You ain't even got cred over there, maynne, you can't even beat Ibkayelol
Boy, you've gotta get rapschooled before top dawgs have time to trash you.
Hiphop heads don't do child abuse, son

Yeah, you had better held on to your decision because, bar Eedris, you're the weakest user of words I've ever seen.
I think you should just concentrate on your studies and stop trying to act tough, it's not helping you.

your hardest punches are too weak too comfort me
Hmmn, even if you can't be creative, just apply brains, weak too comfort you???
You must be kidding me!!!

let enough talk about troubling me.i don't post on stupid topics.when i have to make a post it must be worthwhile.
Do you actually think you've made any worthwhile post on nland??
You don't even know how to use simple, correct l'anglais

secondly am just too busy to sit on the comp just to reply little kids who aint paid their dues.
Paid dues??
Please pass the bottle to the left, u've crossed the 'drink and post' limit

I don't understand, that was meant to be what? A  collection of punchlines??? or a story

let the intelligent speak and the dumb try to learn.this goes out to lyrical im-bes-siles like u
Coming from a retarded dumbo, I'm impressed, I'll just say 'practice what you preach'

shaz and eldee not excluded.adieu.may your souls rest in pieces.
Your stupidity is breaking new grounds
My days, your level of daftness is actually CHRONIQUE
You make idiots like abdulrazaq sound like Newton.

This dude is the most imbecilic, verbally challenged, down-syndrom patient I ever met in my entire life.
Infact I feel sorry for his parents, having to watch this retard grow in so much idiocy is worse than capital punishment.
You're a total waste of DNA.
Mayne, the theory of evolution is a bitch if idiots like this still exist.
