Another Nigerian in Chelsea Academy.Neil Bath introduces the new arrivals:

Lee Sawyer — “An east London lad who has been with Chelsea since the age of nine. An England Under 16 international, Lee is an attacking midfielder. He’s very competitive.

Seth Ofori  - “From the same west London estate as Carlton Cole, Seth has been with us since 12 years-old. Another right-back and another England Under 16, he’s an attacking full-back who is strong in the tackle.”

Thomas Taiwo — “He is joining us this season and is also an England Under 16 international. Thomas plays holding midfield and is a good ball player. He’s strong on retaining possession, reads the game well and is strong in the tackle.”

Michael Woods — “Also joining this season, Michael is an attacking midfield player with good touch and awareness. He scores goals from midfield and plays for England Under 16s.”

Miroslav Stoch — “Playing out wide or behind a front player, he’s a quick and tricky, two-footed and good in one- v-one situations. A Slovakian international who is joining us this season, Miroslav is a good goalscorer.”

Sergio Tejera — “Joining us from Spanish club Espanyol, he’s a left-sided player whose position is either at the top of a midfield diamond or behind a front player. Sergio always finds time on the ball and is creative in his play.”

Rhys Taylor — “A Welsh Under 16 goalkeeper. Rhys is tall, an excellent shot stopper, comes for crosses and is brave but also comfortable with ball at his feet.”

The shirt aint that bad and thatz ADIDAS design for the year 2006.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he is "ready for war" next season. Apparently, this is demonstrated by his new cropped haircut  Grin  Shocked

@ Gunner,
He said so.
Mourinho is just too funny. He has added excitement to the Premiership.
I saw him on Skysports news today saying his new hair-cut shows he is ready for war with other teams. Grin

he's learnt the hard way, the press has gutted him like fresh salmon each season, he's had to tone down the rhetoric

all the better though, i remember the heady days when wenger and fergie cussed each other out each week.

Re: Strictly Chelsea Talk:

U must give it to Mourinho.
He has been able to make himself the most important figure in Chelsea ranks.
Arsenal plays a match and everyone is keen to hear Henry say his bit on post-match interviews.
Fans lie in wait to hear Rooney or Van Nistelrooy comment on his goals but its different with Chelsea.
Journalists prefer to hear Mourinho out for post-match comments than any player in Chelsea even if such player bags a hatrick in the match.
Mourinho's post match interview at Nou Camp when they got eliminated in UCL is the largest gathering ever witnessed in football history. Grin

What else do you expect from Arsenal Fanatics?

Lets check what they say about Mikel?     And about Henry's performance.

@ debosky,
U can say that again.
I have already cancelled my pre-orders with Kitbag.
There's no way i am going to put those rags on ma neck
Those jersies suck like hell but i was a bit relieved when i learnt the jersey was designed in memorial of Matt Busby's shirts of 1950.
Its managable but those Jersies look like what the Israelis wore while crossin the Red Sea some million years ago.

Re: Strictly Chelsea Talk:

well well well,
mourinho is simply the most talked about person nowadays in football circles, that i wonder how he keeps his private lives from the ever-prying eyes of the public !

@ Jackal, good to know you realize that !

Re: Strictly Chelsea Talk:

@ Jackal man i hope they truly were designed after a1950's jersey. even NEPA Oshogbo would reject those jerseys
