Shortlisted For Shell Economics And Finance
« on: May 07, 2008, 05:39 PM »

Did you remember that popular Shell graduate job advert that closed April 21. I have received an email from Shell that I have been shortlisted for interview and I will be contacted soon. I checked my application status on their website and I found SHORTLISTED against my name.

Has anybody also got this message?

I don't have any serious experience other than briefly working for two months in one of these investment banking institutions before going 4 service. And that,of course, was included in my CV.For my service which I just finished,I served in a village primary school(close to Niger republic) in the remotest part of one of the North Western states, so that's no experience at all.

I'm a First class Economics grad from one of the first generation unis though.

I can also remember filling the application form took me almost 3 weeks, on almost daily basis.I was very meticulous and detailed. All my reasonable scholarships, awards, leadership activities, team experiences etc were given in details. Maybe all those 'sold' me to them.

Anyway,it may be God's way of rewarding me after losing a lucrative investment banking job in Lagos pre-NYSC and going to a remote village to serve as a teacher in a primary school!!!

But it's not yet eureka, please who knows the interview procedures/stages of shell ?

This is a golden opportunity which I pray I can't allow to slip. Plsssssssssssss
