Vacancy for a Sales Manager
The ideal candidate would be held with the responsiblity of achieving sales target and ensure product availability within the business unit. Define a strategy to Identify and address new market segments, and enhance Business within his unit.
Maintain close liaison with the regional business head to ensure that the spirit and letter of company policies and targets are achieved within the business unit. Conduct research to ascertain competitor’s sales strategies and liaise with the Regional Business Head to combat same within his unit. Provide administrative leadership for all departments within the business unit. Responsible for ensuring that his/her business unit is customer-centric in line with corporate customer strategy and standards. Ensure maintenance of cordial relationships with all relevant government agencies (federal state and local) and community bodies within his unit Knowledge of local languages an added advantage
Requirment:
A good degree, preferably in marketing, Business/Public Administration Possession of MBA added advantage. 4-5 years post graduation experience (preferably in the sales function within the telecommunication industry), At least one of which should have been at supervisory or management level.
Broad knowledge of industry and related best practices in sales, marketing, distribution and promotional activity. A good listener with ability to analyze, deduct, report and action as required.
