I am not normally in the habit of shhoting people dow but having had a look at your so called "revolutionary" magazine, i think i owe it to you to say something.

It is so sad that we all see things ben done well outside nigeria and in many cases inside too but istead of learning the craft or the how to's etc, our first instinct is to copy and as a result end up with a product so mediocre it defies belief. I cannot begin to critique your site( it will be a waste of time)

My advice to you will be to ;

1. Go and learn how to design and develop websites PROPERLY
2. Learn the art of journalism if you are going to produce an online magazine.
3. Research your content properly
4. Learn how to market your product.

Please do not see this as an attempt to shoot you down. It is not. If you are going to do well , please take the advice.

@olud64  and Poster

I have to disagree and agree with you olud64. I agree that he need to learn More about Web design, but at the same time there are a lot of website that are not fancy and are gettig millions of user per day. Sometimes it is th content not the design that makes a site. Anyway, Good Job angelchyke on launching your site/blog hopefully you will improve on it has the months go by.

Good work.  Here is google search for inspirational flare

My advice, strategise some content and make sure you have a market target (By market target, I mean let your magazine target a group of people. Remember you can NEVER certify everyone.

Contents
=============

1. Developers Corner
2. Platform (Like Windows, Unix, Solaris etc)
3. Forum
4. Books (where you recommend books for your targeted audience and critic other people book)
5. News (NOT political news, IT news particularly the location of your targeted audience)
6. Jobs (Your target audience local IT Jobs)
7. Any other item you can think of

Don't bombard your audience with unnecessary information. Be precise and get to the point. Have a good storyboard (Navigational structure). May God bless you, Amen.

You don't need to learn advance web design or any programming script for the web.  You can buy a website template and only learn to modify them to suite your need. Like the owner of this forum did not design the software or database that runs the forum he only learn to modify the software to suite his needs.

Remember the best way to learn is to learn how other people did what they did in forms of Edit, modify and maintenance like the China.

I commend your effort for coming out with that, but i must tell you the truth.  You don't just wake up and dive into web developement or Magazine world. The website is a sellout with very poor colors and layout. please take off the link to that site and go back to your drawing board if you have one, I'll be glad to assist you if you need my help.
