Is Is Right To Charge For Pre-employment or Aptitude Test- (DRAGNET)
« on: May 12, 2008, 08:08 AM »

I attempted applying for UBA general graduate recruitment 2008, only to be refered to the Dragnet site, the sad thing is that I've to cough out #7,500 for the test. Is it okay to charge the unemployed for pre-employment tests?
I think it is complete bullocks!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely not! It is epitome of white collar fraud and pen robbery typical in the higher echelons of Nigerian society. Charging N 7500 for one applicant in the midst of millions for the job one would never get because demand outstips supply will surely garner tens of milions for the company - all for doing nothing.

If they are commited to providing a customer-focused service, they should only charge for the jobs their applicants land through their system. I am sure every successful applicant wouldn't mind paying twice that.

Like the name says, it IS dragging applicants little fund down their drain
