hOW MANY PPL CAN STAND IN public to confess such a thing, even if you are not religious, its hard to go public with something so personal. At the end of the day he made his confession to te world and most importantly to God, which is the most important thing, i for one could not say such intimate things out loud. Sammy okposo (gospel artist and former choir leader of house on the rock) is a sex addict. I heard gist that he impregnated one of the choir members and that was why he left.

Sex is one of the best things God created, kirk s probably addicted to having sex with his wife it only becomes a sin when you do it uncontrollably outside marriage. i believe any guy who is not addicted to sex has problems.
Why do you think most pastors have beautiful drop dead gorgeous wives with all the curves in the right places? To keep them away from sin ofcourse! As a pastor When you remember your have a sexy wife at home thats ready to take you anywhere you want (on the couch, in the shower, On the kitchen sink, by the stairs) no matter which tyra banks comes to tempt you she would not succeed.

chieffoh i need to see the source!!. i love sammy okposo, his music are all inspirational ones. so when you say that he is a sex addict, then its truly sad. but i really need to see the source! we are not acting like sex is a sin, but when someone especially someone that we look up to(Role model) admits that they have a sex addiction, then it becomes a sin problem. to even make it worst, these are gospel artist, heloo G. O. S. P. E. L artist. however, if such thing(one admitting that they are sex addicts) happen to other artist that sings another genre of music(for instance rap, hip- hop) then we wont be so surprise. nevertheless, if you read my post, i said oh well, it happens to the best of us. nevertheless, he is a good man!!

pls you guys really need to read that article, it says he HAD a sex addiction and has found a solution for his problem, always read the whole story before you come to any conclusion and remember he has found forgiveness with God and we should not condemn him. |

Let me ask what's wrong with being ''addicted'' to sex. Addiction of any form/type is wrong in every sense of the word, but I believe that so long as you do not go beyond the bounds of your marriage - in so far as your spouse is perfectly OK with your ''addiction'', then there's really nothing to worry about. Sex with your wife and no one else is ok.
Could this mean that Kirk Franklin was having (had) extramarital sex, affairs? Someone pls enlighten me.
