Av noticed that operamini hardly work on nokia phones with screen resolutions of 128*128 and 128*160. I just don't know y opera has problem with such nokia phones.

Its because u are using a wap connection to that phone,na only with internet connection u go fit browse with opera mini on that phone.I will upload some mobile browser for this thread 2nite,u go download am with your phone and see if it will browse,na only with internet setting u go fit browse on opera mini on that nokia

If you usin mtn, it wont work provided u dnt av crdt, at the same time, create a new adez point and try 4.1

Please Nairalanders how do i use the opera mini because talking about internet connection, i non of my lines is internet enabled i only use gprs conn. Also about the access point a created for both mtn & celtel but while trying the gprs use to establish but after a while it will bring the nonsense message.

y all of una dey yarn trash, say opera mini no fit work 4 s40 n phones wit 128*128 screen resolution, men that is false, so far your phone is java enabled u would b able to use OPERA MINI wether wit wap or mms or internet d shit thin works, gawd i even use opera mini 4.01 on a 6030 @poster we asked a question what kind of network are u usin? u did not reply, fcuk, now if u use mtn, u wuld nid to have moni on your phone to use any of opera mini software includin d MODDED version , check if u can visit mtn's website wit your normal phone browser to see if u av a workin wap connection, if u can do that, den u av a connection and opera mini wuld work wit d phone so far dere is moni inside it, but if u can't check mtn's website wit your default browser den u don't av a wap connection or d current working wap connection is not set to DEFAULT , so set your workin wap connection to default and den that is all, but if dere is moni and it gives an error message when u open opera, go to your settings and change d protocol to HTTP, note u can't browse wit a SOCKET enabled protocol (For version 3.6 and above), but for lower versions so far dere is moni inside d phone, it opens mtn website and u are usin d default connection that is workin, your opera mini wuld browse, first it wuld install d opera wit the network connection and that is all. d same tin goes wit celtel mms only that , hmmmmmmmm "UNA KNOW NOW" d tin must browse, just make sure u can open d SIM cards website in your normal browser if it works, OPERA MINI wuld WORK  |

As for me i use nokia 5300 and i use the celtel mms but still not working but i do almost everything with my celtel mms.

@poster we have two type Opera Mini 3 & 4 which of them is not working for you? i guess its your platform.

@ poster if u no do wetin i talk now i go throw bomb inside nairaland.It has to be internet connection.This same thing happen to my nokia 6230 three years ago,until i use internet connection.All phone different. e.g. some phones fit browse with mms and some can't haba, if i una make me talk again,i go flog una 12 strokes each
