When all is said and done, we enjoy what we enjoy, I love Durella's music, his flow, his lyrics, I don't have a D'banj album, but I love Mobolowowon, Just let me know when 2gbaski's album is out so I can get one and report back if he lives up to the high standard I have set him.

ok lets get this thing straight.dbanj obviously is more popular than durella;no doubt .what if dbanj actually copied him?was at the point beat studio sometime last yr to record for my artiste and i saw durella.i was talking with some of the buddies at point beats about this durella/dbanj sound alike thing and i got a shocker.i was told that dbanj actually copied durella.learnt they were pals before and due to all that shit about not havin money and that,, long story.though i really do not buy that story,there cud b some element of truth in it because i think durella acts more of that stuff.he actually looks more like what he sings about than dbanj.he looks like the true ghetto boy who cud live a whole yr in the zanga.what eva,i think there would be no nid doing a duet because it would be the same thing.let them just be.

Durella n D'Banj are both my kind of artist, I feel them both, Durella is a Talented Artist while D'Banj is an Entertainer and the both works 2geda, they gat same concept, I think they were in a group before d'Banj mingled with the jjc & 419 squad, him ja to uk and made his way, while my durella dey naija dey huzzle naira and kobo, anyway i wish them both the best,

All Y'all should shut the F up! Whats with Durella and Dbanj Argument?  Durella grew up in M city, so did Wande coal, which obviously made people believe D'banj copied his styl'a music. Dbanj developed his talent in the UK, which makes nobody a Photostat Machine@ @*#&$%#$#  You guys should chill and reminiscene the days of Mobolowowon~Mr. Olopa, Tonosibe and so on. @poster I thought this topic was like a D'banj V. Durella stuff (as per who's better?) but it's not. The two artistes on the same track wouldn't sound nice as some peops earlier noted. Try Shyne Po and Guerilla Black I'm actually a sticker for songs with themes/messages that teach lessons or make meaning. But if I'm to just talk about style and pattern plus lyrics without the lesson-teaching edge, I'll go for Durella over D'banj anyday. They might both sound alike but it's like water and blood. Blood is thicker than water  Apart from Mobolowowon, I don't dig any other D'banj song. For Durella, I love In The Zanga, Gunners, Shayo in that order. Overall, Durella represents that style on a better and deeper level. Durella wins! |

@Lalaboi, I'm not a gunner, yet I like the "Gunner" track from Durella. It's all about skills dude  I maintain that only "Mobolowowon" makes sense to me from D'banj till date. The MTV Base Award-winning song was "Why Me", ain't it? Man, as popular as that song was; I don't digg it at all. It's not about winning awards or becoming an ambassador of peace or even war.
