As an Obama supporter, I appreciate Mr. Edwards' support, but he should have done this a long time ago. I lost a little respect for him today. He waited until it was politically safe to do this, I bet if Clinton were the perceived nominee we'd have seen a different endorsement. This was an opportunistic move. I can only wonder what Hillary was doing while she was watching this, Sobbing hysterically, or throwing things at Bill? Al Gore?where you at?!!

no one says racism is over but the fact that the guy is winning by leaps and bounds and blacks make up only about 12% of the US population is a testament that things have changed a great deal.In my books he's already won. He has done what no blacks or minority including Jewish has ever done. The massive amounts he's raising is obviously from majority white. All he needs to do is choose a powerful white running mate and attack hammer on how the republicans have ruined the economy. I can only wonder what Hillary was doing while she was watching this, Sobbing hysterically, or throwing things at Bill? Al Gore?where you at?!! probably pounding bill's face

Well said. The guy is gutless and spineless, never had much respect for him anyways and he's proving why. And I don't think his endorsement means as much as we'd like to believe - Edwards is not that overly influential that it would cause that major of a shift in favor Obama. Granted a good chunk of his delegates will move to Obama but he was going to take the nomination anyways - barring another Rev Wright episode

good points by PEIN, the only advantage is the Edwards delegates. I think Edwards is simply positioning himself for the vice-presidency slot to whoever ends up being the nominee.

Lol, true, and it would be a mistake for Obama to take Edwards as his VP. . .

Nwando is a fair weather friend just like Edwards The guy just sat on the fence and waited for the winner to emerge before throwing his support. It is a welcome development but it is not a critical one. He should be high on some reef from the inlands of Jamaica if he thinks he is going to be a running mate to Obama @ Jeseoul We hope Rev Wright does not pull out another rabbit from his bag of tricks. We have seen enough.

I'm not trying to antagonize my black brother, Obama, but what are the chances that Americans will vote him as their president? I say without fear or favour that if Obama eventually flies the Democratic ticket, they will suffer a collosal loss at the poll. Obama can't be US President. I mean the world President!! Let's stop fooling ourselves please. As it is now, Americans are not yet ready to be led by neither a woman nor a Black man that has a name that sounds like an Islamic name.

that sounds like an Great Religious name Seun, what right have you to alter my post to suit your own purpose? Why did you change ' Islamic name', which I wrote to 'Great Religious name'? You are pursuing some of us from this forum. If it's not undue and reckless banning, it's twisting of our posts. This's arrant nonsense and rascality, and it's unacceptable.
