Visual Studio Requirements

I am not sure about best but try to get at least a AmD Athalon 1400 or a Dual Core Intel or whatever good processor you have out there and 2GB mem. That way you are covered for all. I use an AMD 1400 at home with 2GB ram and it runs excellently. Never had a problem with my home machine but my work machine sucks. It has about windows Xp and 1GB memory( I have no idea why a machine still has 1 in this day and age) and VS 2005 keeps crashing on it but VS 2008 express works with absolutely no hiccups on the same machine. Wonder why !! but I will not even bother myself with such.
