3d Icons For Site Design

3D icons have always interested me. They look so cool and are good for Control Panels of web applications -- they also look good in applications. Unfortunately, getting free, XP-style / 3D icons is always tough -- most of them are sold in sets.

It's possible to get them for free -- the only thing is knowing where to look. Here are some sites I get icons from:

• Wikimedia Commons (most of these are SVG files but you can get some PNG)
