- Gambling Online sites
- imitate corporates' sites like financial institutional sites, western union/moneygram sites to make fake sites
- something illegal sites
- hate crime (racism/tribalism) sites
- Hacking/Cracked/Pirated sites

For creating an escort service website, you have to check with state/country law whether it is legalized or not!
I agreed with you not feel comfortable to create an escort service website. However, there are lot of escort service website out there everywhere.

i wont do any of these. and also i try to get a little info about my clients. and i judge if the project is going to boost my brand or is it the other way round. one really needs to consider both long and short term rewards before agrreing to work on a project |

It depends on what you do.
If you design static websites then it will be easy to say no especially when they want you to handle everything.
If you are a programmer and you are paid to develop a script or a content management system then it will be difficult to know how your script will be used especially when you are not in control of the hosting plan. For example any good content management system can be customized and used for anything.
Fraudulent websites should be avoided as anytime the fraudster goes down you follow.
