Mr Landis,
Thanx for ur comment.
I remember saying pools have different shapes, sizes and specifications.

The pool you put up above is a non-fibre pool and a its a  casted pool. I also believe it can't be self-chlorinating.

There are pools of N300,000 if u wish but in this day and age, they are fast going into extinction.
We have a strong client base and our watchword is quality.

That is why I said if you wish,  We are in Nigeria and people cut corners.
I have quoted for a standard pool of high quality and I was faulted, so in trying to explain, I had to say N300, 000 to show that you can get very cheap pools but it will be of very low standard. please read my post well before you judge

I did not fault you only that N4mil is too much for my budget.

The last one above cost me N600K in 2006. It is self-chlorinating with sand-filters.

Can you paste picture of your works?

@aysometin
Why not discuss with your company to develop a website showcasing your corporate profile and previous works done?
Using your domain name should also give you a better image than a yahoo email ad.
Just my thoughts anyway. . .

U are a liar u can't get a POOL 4 less than 1.5m in nigeria
a have built  2 in abuja and 1 in jalingo  and the minimun working  cost was more than 3m.
the size was
2m deep end
1m shallow end
3m width
8m lenght
i am not a beginner in construction so don't try to confuse me

@  landis
U can't make a pool 4 less than 2.m and u are telling me 600k 4 a sand filtered pool, NA LIE!!!
ARE U REAL? cause i am having this feeling 419 ers are taking over nairaland
please more pics of ur pool with the engine room, pumps and  electical switch board.

Very Real and you can see the picture there.

self-chorinating + sand filter were all imported. I bought those two piece for $450 in Europe.

What I have noticed things are uneccessarily expensive in naija.

Bros U Quoted in naira and i guessed u made the pool in in nigeria
I am telling u the Nigerian price of most pools.
The machine u showed me is not connected  to any pipe or electricity.
i would love to see the machine  connected to the pool
also the electrical board(where the machine is connected to power)
If aysometin says 600k 4 a fiber pool
tell her to get her facts right i don't think she has ENOUGH knoledge POOLS

Mr Icemann,

Take it easy, I understand you are trying to advertise, so am I.
Stop using abusive words, just relax and do ur thing.

I never quoted 600,000k for a fibre pool.

Read the thread well from the begininng before jumping, my first quotation to Landis was 4million naira for the specifications he gave

Mr Landis was the one that said he did a pool for N600,000 while I was trying to explain to him that you can even get a cheaper pool but it wont be modern and up to standard.

please sir read the posts well before attacking people.

You are not the only one that knows about pools, so stop giving the impression that others are ignorant.
I am working hard at getting all our pictures here ASAP.

U were the one that said u can get a LOW QUALITY  pool 4 less than 600k
IF i were looking for the job i would have quoted 4 one i
i work in ABUJA  and i don't see my self going to lagos 4 a client that says 4m is too much 4 a pool
If i were interested, i wouldnt be challenging landis who is to be a potential client on the credibilty of his pool(READ the thread)
I AM NOT INTRESTED IN BUILDING THE POOL

i Got interested when i saw a pool was made 4 600k
I taught i was protecting his interest thats y i said he should get a Quantity Surveyor
SORRY IF U THINK I WAS ATTACKING U

I have pasted picture of my pool for 600K in 2006.

Why should I build another for 4mil in 2008?  what type of inflation is that?

Paste picture of pools you have done and let us see.

First u need site expriencem to know mix ratios, reinforcements, also a little structural design(in case the drawing is complex)
If u don't have site exprience don't  try building 1 cause it will keep leaking
U can down load the manual but u still need exprience
u better look 4 some 1 that is on a pool project and learn(best advise)
