Hello, I'm Omovie and I'm a bollywood-oholic.

I watch a lot of films men and I'm such a dork. It's terrible! I think that's y I got rid of my last 2 bfs.

Anyways,

Dhoom:2 (Bollywood) - stars Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai (I'm kind of getting sick of her, she's like Genevieve. She's bloody everywhere!), Bipasa Bapu and Abishek Bachchan (yes, you're not seeing double. That's "Toofan" juniour).
Great action sequences. Love the way all the characters are introduced to the audience, they have phenomenal entrances into the story. However, what was the point of the Uday Chopra character. I've seen funnier lines in a low budget Telugu movie. Hrithik was hot as hell and he was most importantly believeable. Abishek frowned throughout the film as usual. He can't stand up to his father's acting yet, I'm sorry.  I pray God will forever bless the makeup artist(s) on this film. Splendid job with Hrithik's many wardrobe and makeup changes. Aish was well Aish. She's beautiful. She has a great figure. Her cat eyes are a gorgeous signature. I'm tired of seeing Aish. She can act no problem but she's becoming too ubiquitous and it's no longer working for me. Preity Zinta is more fun to watch and if I'm just dying to see a gorgeous woman in a complex role Priyanka Chopra as soon-to-be-ex Mrs Roi in Aitraaz is SICKKK!

District 13 (French) - Frigging action at its best! It was adrenaline from start to finish. It's a guy movie but I like some guy movies so that can be a good thing. Fairy looking villian but it worked. The plot was kind of empty but I was too busy going "ooooh!" whenever they did a stunt to really care. Don't take this movie too seriously and you'll enjoy it. I watch foreign films a lot plus I speak French so the subtitles didn't bother me but it might be ocularly annoying to watch if you don't like sous-titres (subtitles).

Arabian Nights (American, TV movie) - Still my favourite TV movie of all time! I loved the cameo of the obviously Naija actor as the wizard in Ali Baba's story. The visuals were decadently lush but no so much your brain gets dizzy. The stories transitioned beautifully and somehow the writers managed to keep all of it together. It's based on the 1001 Arabian Nights story book. I remember reading something like that growing up. Anyways, great movie, lots of laughs and family friendly. You'll enjoy it.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (British) - This story is completely preposterous Huh, but I LOVE IT! You will have your mouth open the entire time and I can't just describe this film. You have to see it. The ending is crazy as heck but it fits perfectly. Very surreal and overall and artsy film based on an actual novel. You will love. You won't know why, but you will.

Orlando (British) - starring Tilda Swinton. All I can say is: O DEAR GOD! WHAAAOOOWWW! Umm yeah. Tilda is officially the QUEEN of bishonen in Britain. She must be who Sir Integra of the Hellsing comics is based on.

Lord of the Rings (American/New Zealander/A whole bunch of Europeans and possibly a few Canadians) - Who doesn't like all 3 LOTR. Go and see the film jo! Unda which rock u bin dey hide? Shuu! Go and see it.

I second that. The chick was a little too cheery and Jah 4give me but I couldn't look past her blue veins! I kept going: "Jesus! So that's what I'd look like if I lacked melanin and had a shrunken lip!" I couldn't focus. Dempsey wasn't used enough, they made him kind of wooden like they just wanted "McDreamy" in the film or something. I kind of liked the little girl and I've been a Susan Sarandon (the witch) fan since I saw Something till Midnight with Noel Page.

Borat:It started well but as the film went on it just kept veering out of the realm of  anything meaningful and had to come at an abrupt end when it was getting obvious that it was becoming a complete bore
