Collecting Online Form Results On Excel

Hi people,
I would like to know how possible it is to design a form in such a way that
when it is filled online all the data is collected in Microsoft Excel.
In that case, where the site visitor enters first name, surname, address etc, ,
you can collect the data in excel arranged in a table format (the name will fall under the name field in Excel, etc) instead of the the data collected in the normal html format?

use PHP to send the data to an excel file

why not store in database then convert to excel

phpmyadmin does that easily
