It seems to me that if these two people basing the entirety of the relationship on the size of his phallus, then the relationship is doomed, anyway, because these are two very shallow people.

There is so much more to any person than physical attributes that it amazes me that so much emphasis is placed on what amounts to superficial things.  Even the most sexually active people in the world can spend only so much time engaged in the act, and it's a very small amount of time compared to everything else we humans do. 

This "friend":  Is he respectful of the woman?  Does he have a good sense of humor?  Is he caring?  Polite?  Helpful?  These are the things that matter in a relationship--not how well-endowed somebody is. 

If all she's concerned about is a "big one," she can get a marital aid.  If all he's concerned about is being bigger "down there," then he, too, needs to re-assess his self-worth.
