*In general*, .com - for sites that generate money .net - Internet service providers .org - Non-profit organizations .tv - TV stations .ng - could use this so that pple know up front that your site is naija-based  I hope thie helps |

Most "casual" internet users are still wired to .com addresses. .tv - TV stations
I beleive .tv actually "belongs" to Tuvalu like .ng is for Nigeria. TV stations just use it because it "communicates" some information to the user. |

.com is the best extension for any site. if you choose any other extension, you should get the .com also.

Get a dot com because most people are used to typing .com so your propective visitors are likely to type abcdef.com first before remembering its abcdef.biz remember to get it right because adresses on the net are tigtly packed and almost anything u type will leade u somewhere. I once had a problem with www.talkorigin.org and www.talkorigins.org . Same with www.ccnn.com and www.cnn.com. Also with www.nairaland.+net and www.nairaland.comAll in all make sure u also have a .com. My church's site christembassy should be .org but we have a .com as well |
