ok, so my pastor just recently told me to stop having sex with my BF because am trying to do rite by Gods sight, trying to b a disciple and all

I'm sure you want to have sex. True body no be wood. But what does the scripture say? Shall we obey God live by our flesh? The desires of our flesh are great but even then, the consequences of not obeying God are even more deadly.
Obey God and keep his commandment - so says the Scriptures. No matter what, let God help you. Tell your BF you are now for God and cannot fornicate anymore. God will help you to stand only if you yourself really want to stand.

I quite agree you do not want him to cheat on you but I think you need to come to the place of choosing God or your BF no matter what he means to you. It will not be an easy decision but if you love God, you can forgo anything no matter what. IT WILL BE A HARD CHOICE THOUGH BUT YOU CAN STAND UP FOR GOD.
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything.

@Triendiest: Sex is a good thing to have in the proper setting. If you and your boyfriend are old enough to enjoy it, along with other aspect of good relations, my advice is that you should get married. Just because you are married does not mean that you can not have a good life. It does not also mean that you must have children right away. There is no specific age to get married anywhere on earth.
Here in Yankee, at 16 or max 18, anyone can get married. From your style of writing, you are at least 18. You should marry him. That will eliminate all this sneak and peak of sexual behaviour. Your bond will be stronger because of the marriage. You will learn very much more about each other in the goodness of marriage.
Live a life of maturity and do a simple church wedding, without the unnecessary elaborations. By the time you may intend to renew the vow for the "societal wedding" Nigerian style, you would not have been the cow which is milked so much without being put in the pasture to graze. You are familiar with the fact that if he has not paid for the cow, he is only concerned with the milk and nothing more.

Dear trendiest,
I applaud your decision to drop sex now. In order to let GOD help you maintain your stand & our prayers effectual, may I suggest you do the following:
1. Thank God for his love for you
2. Apologise for your earlier conduct in things which displease Him.
3. Tell Him of your resolve to please Him & this you know would be difficult - except He helps you
4. Ask that He starts a new walk with you & plead that the blood of Jesus shed at calvary cleanse you of your old n sinful ways.
5. Ask Jesus to take over your life n direct you as begin this new walk with God.
It is my prayer that the God of all mercies keep you by His grace & make you overcome any blight that may come your way as you take your stand- I pray in Jesus name.
Now begin a daily bible reading schedule & start to show by your actions n words your new walk with the Lord. God bless you good.

Truth is, you can find a 'great' researcher to support any stand, however warped and laughable it may be. Good to know young folks still taking their stand amidst all the perversions n errors around us. God bless you good
